The Icy Power

Legends has it that there is a spiritual power pass down from every five generation to five generation and life will become different from all the other kids. The sun came out shining like there's no tomorrow. Then in the middle of my dream I felt a hand on my shoulder moving me from side to side. "Sweetie, wake up your going to be late" then I slowly move my head toward the sound. " late for what".

"Don't tell me you forgot already?".

"Sorry mom I am still half asleep. I had this amazing dream where..." Interrupting

"sorry Angle but we don't have time to tell each other about our dreams. We have something important to do at the park ".

" but mom what is so important about the park I mean we should have time to talk about my... I mean our dreams, since it is my birthday".

" just because you turn a year older doesn't mean that I have to drop everything just for this day. Plus I got an important meeting for work at the park it is top secret. Ok ?".

"Do I have to come? if it is top secret then I shouldn't come since there might be a chance that I told everyone I know about the meeting".

" you have to come! Hurry up and get dress we have to skip... Well you have to skip breakfast. I will be waiting for you in the car ok". "Fine mom ".

After a couple of minutes. We were heading to a store mom said I need new cloth and her meeting is at midnight. After a few hours of trying I finally got the right pair of cloth I would put on during the meeting. "Sweetheart why won't you put on something with a skirt or even a dress."

"Because mom I just don't like them very much, I like better a nice shirt with shorts or pants."

"Ok I was just wondering why." Then my mom drag me into the car so we can go to this important meeting which I had no part in, plus she haven't even said happy birthday what kind of mother drag there child to a meeting talking about the market and other boring stuff on there birthday. " Angel  were here".

"So ..... Can I stay in the car?".

"No, we are going deep in the park" sigh "fine mom" we got down from the car and into the park. Since the park is close we had to jump over the fence, plus it wasn't for my mom since we are late at night, we wouldn't make it over the fence. Mom can use that strong werewolf jump. As soon as we got close to that spot of the meeting I couldn't believe what I seen because it wasn't a meeting it was a ..... SUPRISE PARTY!

"But mom you shouldn't have.... you said this morning it was just another day and you just can't drop everything just because it was my birthday and .... interrupting "I know but it will be nice for you to have a birthday and since you are turning fifteen. It is a special day. Just stop asking question and enjoy... plus I understand that you don't like party, well this one is all about you" speech my mom

"Well now I understand why you wanted me to get a dress..." then I looked at my mom and smile, as well as giving her a hug. Then I whisper "Thank you, your the best" my mom smile and I left hangout with a few of my family member.

"So Stacey, they just grow up so fast huh?" a friend of my mom who is also one of the council as talking to her. "Yeah, Rudy they sure do"

"So what are you going to do ?" "Do about what"

"about Angle" "Well nothing, she is growing up into a wonderful person"

"Oh... so you didn't hear" "Hear what!?"

"It isn't safe to speak hear we need to go somewhere more private follow me..." So my mom left but I didn't notice because I was so busy on catching up what my relative and I miss. Mom and Rudy walked into a hidden cave.... "Here should be great so far" "Ok now what didn't I hear about" Rudy began to explain

"Do you know about the legendary power that shows ever fifth generation"

"yes?"

"Well, the last time your Angle went to the hospital for a check up, we found something in her blood and we weren't sure what it was. We search day and night comparing it to other substances and figure out that it only aappear in some one in the fifth generation.This is where we made a connection. You know that this generation the Vampires will rise from that ashes of darkness and will try to take over the human race. They will bring chaos and destructions the living. Since she enhance the power, she will have to lead us into victory and protect the living. My guess ifyou didn't know she wont know right?"

"That is true but it can't be right... right?"

"well her personality match all the others who had this power , but the number one mystery is who will she fight with good or evil?" "She will fight for good..." " today was the last day for her to be normal you know that right" " Yes I am against this but is the nature of god chose the so be it but if anything happen to her I will reek revenge so make sure she is ready before any risky mission you go it!" "don't worry we will take care of her... oh they will also about to do the presentation we have to go back"

So they walk back and I saw her and smile "Lady and gentle this young lady will now have the honor to train as a werewolf for the next full moon she will experience the transformation. She will have a chose to pick soldier, healer, assassin, general.... so which is it"

"well I don't know" "there must be a dream you would like to work under right? .... (then some one interrupted and whisper something in his ear) What hold that thought I have heard that you will be working and have a special trainer, you will be on of our special mission operator. This mean a spy, Tec, and translator. Do you take the offer?"

"uh, sure" Then we party till sunrise and went home but I had a bad feeling in the atmosphere around my mom. Does she know something I don't know or did something serious happen which is it. I hate this feeling I hope I find out soon because it will kill me in the inside out.
