We pull up outside the house and we both get out of my beloved Impala. The two of us walk into the house and go straight to my room. I walk over to my bed and sit down. Brendon does the same and I look down at the floor.
Brendon notices the tears forming in my eyes and lifts my chin up. "What's wrong?" He asks, his voice full to the brim with concern.
"I'm okay, I promise." I reply, trying to hide my emotions that are being bottled up inside of me.
"No you're not. I can tell. You can tell me, I'm here to help you, Y/n."
"I just - uh - never mind."
"Okay. Just let me know when you want to talk about it."
I nod and Brendon wraps his arms around my sides. I turn my body, tears start to stream down my face I bury my face into his chest and Brendon tightens the hug.
"I'm sorry for anything bad that has happened your life to make you feel this way but I promise you I will make sure the rest of your life is amazing. Okay?"
I nod into his warm body and Brendon releases me from the hug. I pull my sleeves over my hand and wipe my eyes but Brendon moves my hand away from my face. He cups his hands around my face and uses his thumbs to wipe away the remaining tears.
I smile weakly and moves his hands away.
