'You may now kiss the bride.'

As soon as I finished the meeting, I checked my watch and it said 7:40 pm. Great. I only have 50 minutes left to get to the hotel reception. I just hope the traffic won't be that bad.  I thought to myself.  I quickly hailed a cab and headed straight to the venue. I dialed Hye Chan's number, Hye Lin's younger sister.

"Y/N! Where are you?" She said picking up. "I'm almost there Chan-ah." I answered. "Hurry up girl! Your dress and shoes are ready and are waiting for you at your suite. Room 10229 to be exact." "Thanks babe. I'll be there soon."

Phew! Thank heavens the trip to the hotel didn't take that long. I spotted Chan at the lobby waiting for me. She handed my room key and I dashed towards the closing elevator doors. Luckily, the person inside saw me and held it open. I glanced at him and smiled. He returned my greeting with a smirk revealing some cute dimples near the corner of his lips.

"Nice shoes you got there." He said liftng his finger and I followed to where he was gesturing. I didn't realized that I ran out of the taxi barefoot. I rolled my eyes and smiled at him. "Oh. It's the new trend. You should try it sometimes." I shrugged. I didn't hear his response because we've reached my floor though.

I reached room 10229 and went inside. I saw the light pink gown lying on the bed and a pair of silver stilettos to match. I checked my phone only to that I have 15 minutes left so I got dressed and tried to do my hair and make up within that given time.

As I enter the room, I instinctively looked for any sign of  Yoongi and once I did, I made my way towards him. "Hi, Y/N. You made it just in time." I scoffed sensing the sarcasm behind his words. "By the way, you look gorgeous." He said snaking his arm around me as I kissed him on his cheek. "Thanks. You look good too." I smiled at him.

My attention was caught when the emcee announced, "And now, for our special song number, let us all welcome Miss Lee Y/N and Mister Min Yoongi."

Unknown POV

After seeing my everything standing in front of that altar exchanging vows to the person who made my world the happiest person in the whole universe. Seeing the person who I used love, love someone that isn't me shreds my heart into bits.

I didn't realize that tears left my eyes as someone cleared their throat from my right.

"Just as i thought. You'd cry tonight." My best friend said patting my shoulder with a sad smile plastered on his pale face. I just sighed and returned a sad smile of my own.

"I think it's better this way. At least they found each other and made themselves happy. Plus, it's been almost a year. I'll find someone too. Someone who'll smile and laugh as genuine as the that". I say looking at the newly wed in front of me.

I hear a scoff and looked his way. "Good luck with that one buddy. You're so optimistic that you could die single trying to find 'the one' for you." he said walking away. I let my gaze follow his retreating figure as he stopped a few tables away from where I was and not long after a beautiful woman approached him. She was wearing a baby pink gown with a slit just enough to give everyone a nice view of her long legs. She's almost as tall a Yoongi, hair fixed in a braid making it look like she was wearing a crown. She's mesmerizing. Yoongi whispered something that made her scowl a little as he wrapped his arm on her waist. She must've made a nice comeback seeing that he smirked as she kissed him in his cheek.

I tore my gaze from them. I took my phone from my pocket and started to check if I have emails from work. I wasn't paying attention as the emcee came up the stage announcing a special song number. Hearing Yoongi's name being called, i shifted my eyes once again to the lad as he was going up the stage, hand in hand with the lady earlier. He sat on the black piano and the lady stood in front of the microphone. She took a deep breath and looked at my best friend signaling that she was ready. The lights dimmed and the spotlight was on them. She closed her eyes and started singing. As soon as the first line was sung, I closed my eyes getting lost with the melody and the lyrics of their song.
