El escorted us out of the vehicle as he walked us to the front entrance. The building was pretty high tech with plenty of steel bars for Windows. I looked as i seen imates in the yard of the prison. The prisoners stared at us. Some just glaring, trying to strike fear into us. Aunt Beth most definitely wasn't fazed, in fact, she glared not even blinking, same as them. Me I noticed a energy over them. Dark. I never seen that before.
"Never thought I'll be going to jail." Beth said walking in the building. El put us all in the same cell except for Kathrine, as a gaurd grab her.
"Not you my dear you have a bigger role." He sang as i try to walk towards her. The gaurds blocked me as i step back. I sat down thinking of a plan.
"Ight kiddo. We're here. Whats the plan." Beth asked. I paced back and forward.
"I dont know yet still thinking. For now we need to play along. I wanna know ends and outs of this prison." I told her. She nodded and signed.Dawn pov
"My son is in jail?!" I yelled over the phone.
"Calm down Dawn and yes thats what the news been playing. A monster teared through the city and beth and him was in the mixed." Otis explained. I paced back and forward scratching my dull orange hair. I couldnt do much knowing i was trapped in the mist.
"So we're going to break him out right? Cause you know how this system works with us us supernatural beings. We have to do something." I told him. It was quiet on the other in
"O!" I yelled.
"Look alright! I wanna get em to but we cant act without a plan. I agree we need to get them out. Give me four days. Four days is all i need." He said.
"Fine. All i need is three." I said amd hunged up. I sat on my bed as my head sunked into my lap. I thought to myself what would Wesley do? I felt he would of barged in saving them by force. He was always heroic and he would act with no hesitation. He wouldve probably use his time portal and reverse a moment or two Hell, before he tapped into his time and space he still wouldve hesitated and did something. That was his character. Then again Danny is much like his father in so many ways i know while we're at home thinking of a plan to bring him back. He's plotting three steps ahead.
"Oh Wesley..," I said out loud, "what should i do. What method should i use."Danny pov
The gaurds checked thr halls of the cells reminding us it was lights out. I stared at the ceiling getting my plan together. We where bussing out. It was a must. To be honest though i was pretty scared. I didnt know what i was getting into. I couldve let Kathrine get caught by herself, but my better judgment didnt want that to happen. I want him to think we gave up easily. Soon my eyes started to get heavy as i fell asleep.
The beam of sunlight shine on my as letting me know that moring had hit. 'Cool day one', I thought. The gaurds got us from our cells to eat breakfast.
"Ok just a heads up kid. Dont talk to no one and dont make eye contact. Do those two things we'll survive and this ride can go smooth." Beth warned. I gave her a nod but it was hard not examining the people around me.
"These collards they're use to conceal our abilities right?" I asked she nod. Years after the war abilities skyrocketed. Lucky for me, I took robotic classes with uncle O. I remembered I hid my supply tool in my pants. I start to dig for it.
"Awe geesh Danny, you could've took a potty break before this shit happened." Becky said.
"Nope, even better Aunty." I said pulling out my tool I waited for the guards to pass one more time before I ran to ticker with aunt becks collar. I manage to get it off.
"Heh good thing you enrolled in Ottie's robotic course. He stretched her arm through the gate as she wrapped her arm around both guards necks, throwing them both in to the gate. She checked their pockets grabbing a card access to doors and cells.
"Alright now we blend in." Beth said pulling both guards in the cell. We where both in disguise. We both walked out, casually passing over guards we turn the hall as we sped up. Each guard that walked pass us had a darkness hovering over them. It was like a dark energy but it seem only I noticed it. Each guard we walked pass I stared I couldn't help it. Aunt Beth shoved me, trying to make sure I didn't blow our cover.
"Hey you two," said a guard stopping us. We both have a swift turn around as aunt Beth stood straight, with hands behind her back. Me? Heh I kinda went over board poking my chest out and putting my hand in a salute matter. The guard chuckled.
"Woah there solider, at ease. It's time for the assembly. You guys would've been late if I hadn't stop you. He said.
"Of course, Although we have to check with the control room, Boss man's order" Beth lied as t guard thought about it. He shrugged his shoulders and gave them ok. They both ran towards the control room. We had to pass the hall of other inmates. Each prisoner either was sitting cuz they had no way of escaping, or was chained up because they must've had a powerful supernatural ability. One inmate though, differ from the rest. The person was hanging from their wrist. Chains from their feet. Even a shackle that was around the waist. I stopped examining the person. They also had a black metal mask covering their whole head. It was depressing seeing people like this, it's wrong. The person looked up at me, as if they could see.
"Don't be in sorrow stranger," The voice said it was very deep and distorted, "My God has me still for a reason." The person said. Woah?! How did he? Wow he knew how I was feeling, can he see me? Something grab me and I thought it was Aunt Beth but us was the Gaurds I turned around as I saw Aunt Beth being retrained. They grab me as well.
"Talking to the black magic, Monrow will be pleased to know he'll be able to get rid of you sooner boy!" One of them said grabbing me, forcing me out. I looked back at the mystery person in full captivity. I wondered who..was he?
