0: prologue

She stared at them with confusion and anger laced in her eyes.

He had the one thing she had sworn to protect. Although they had done something quite stupid, the measures he took to ensure that they would be disciplined. He was always about control. Something that drove her mad.

"Push the council meeting 2 months from now." She told her right hand and third in command. "They want to know who I am so bad, let's show them shall we?"

Both smirked knowing that it was time for her reign to begin. It was time for them to see the Queen.

He knew that taking these measures would bring them out. The identity of the newest leader had been kept a secret, no one had ever seen them. He wanted to see the anger of the family that was so known for being incredibly violent.

"You have no idea what you've just done. That family...they will tear us apart. The one family that can burn us to the ground with the snap of a finger. You've signed away your life fucking with them." His right hand said, downing the last of his scotch and leaving the room.

"This is going to be one hell of a ride." He said to himself.

Author's note: rewritten. Hope you like the new prologue. chapter 1 will be up in no time! I loved my storyline, just had to change up quite a few things to make it perfect.

Personal life update: on September 13th, i offically married the love of my life and best friend. Last three months have been tiring, exhausting and now that my new job is settling down, my wedding planning is finally over, i can focus on writing.

So be prepared for new stories, new chapters and maybe some books being published.
