The unknown energy flowing like an ever-lasting river, manoeuvring throughout the entirety of the land itself. Though this power was somewhat tricky at times, it was possible to possess it and be used by anyone in a sense, it would only do so if it believed it was with the best intent, it would choose the correct people with its best form of judgement, which tended to be few and sparse at best.
Though the higher-ups worried, worried about what someone could do with such power coupled with ill intent in their thoughts. Collectively it was decided — to destroy the mystic items, if they were unable to be eradicated they would be locked away from prying eyes, away from all who sought after them.As the years passed, with no information on magic or even it's existence; it slowly faded into obscurity, becoming a simple story of legend that parents would tell their children before bedtime, an attempt to carry on the legend without letting it die out fully.
As time continued, the locks which held the embodiments of magic started to fade, growing weak more due to age than the elements endured. Though in this weakened state is what allowed the enchanting items to break free from their prison, scattering across the land once again, reviving the lost legend and reintroducing it back into the world it once called home.
Though one of the biggest questions happened to arise from this predicament, and that is the following: How would a world, that has been without magic for centuries, readjust to having it once more? The even bigger question to couple with this one: How would the chosen individuals use this forgotten art. for themselves or others, in a knightly honour or a selfish manner, for liberation or imprisonment? I suppose we shall just have to see how both the world and the people adjust back to how it used to be with this forgotten power.
