Finn opens his rusty brown door
When he gets in the house, the familiar scent goes to his nose
Also the same familiar un-dusted furniture made his heart warm a little with sadness
He begins to walk making creeks
He stops when he gets into the living room
He takes off his big jacket that has snow on it and his boots and puts it on a couch
His breath hitches when he sees the same picture that is on top of the fireplace
He walks closer to the picture
And when he does he picks up the frame softly
He looks at the picture with a sad smile when he sees the middle aged woman and man holding a baby in a blanket and their toddler sitting on the man's thigh
He sighs before he lets out tear come down from his eyes
He brushes the face of the lady that looked just like him with his thumb
He misses his family so much
He puts the picture back to its place and goes to a couch and begins to cry not being able to hold in the tears he's been keeping inside for years
He loved his family dearly
He misses his mother's home cooked meals and her lullabys she sang beautifully before he went to sleep
He misses his father teaching him how to be a good person like to not lie, steal, or cheat and he also taught how to treat the ladies with respect
He also misses his big brother that looked exactly like him which they always liked because they could wear the same clothes and people would think they were twins
He just wished he was there with them of the day they got in the accident in a vehicle they now call cars and just killed them all or he could have stopped them and not let them go
But he can't because that's not how life works
He then gets up but slips on something and meets the ground hard
He looks around to see what he fell on
He then sees a silver like chain
He takes it immediately remembering what it is
He furrows his eyebrows as he examines the necklace carefully
It's identical to the one he is wearing
But then a lightbulb lights in his head. It was his brother's; Nick
He remembers the day exactly
It was they day before the accident
They both got in a fight and Nick threw it saying that he doesn't want to be his brother anymore
Sadly that was the last thing he said to him. It was his last words
Finn rolls his eyes getting annoyed at the fact he came back to this house. It just brings back bad memories
That's why Finn decided to sell stuff and travel when he escaped from his orphanage
It took him a while to make money and get used to it but now he loves it
Finn sighs before he gets up and gets his jacket and getting out the door
