Louise's POV

"Alex! We're going out, kay?" I yelled to my older brother Alex. "Yeah sure. Just be back soon." He yelled back. "Okay!" Me and my twin sister Linda, yelled in unison. "C'mon Louise, let's goooo!" I laughed at my sister's childishness before stepping outside.

"Race?" I asked Linda but there was really no need to. I already knew the answer.

"Ready, set, gooooo!!" Linda yelled and we both started running as fast as we could. We were both pretty good, but there's always that one person, who's always better.

We kept running till we reached our special tree. It was where we always came, whether we had a bad day and just wanted to get away from everyone, or just to relax.

We both sat by the tree with our backs pressed against it and started to talk about random things. Like boys, shopping, future pranks and stuff like that.

"So ... how's Brad?" I asked.

"We ... We broke up." She said with a hint of sadness. I don't blame her. Linda loved Brad. I think even more than she loved me and Alex.

"What happened?" I asked in a low voice. I know this is a sensitive topic and I don't wanna push her.

"It's a long story ..."

Flashback - ( Linda's POV)

I was sitting in the woods by me and Louise's special tree with Brad laying next to me.

We were just laying there and enjoying the sound of nature when Brad turned to me with a sad expression. Mmm, i wonder what that's about. "Linda .... I need to tell you something." He said in a sad-apologetic tone. Now I was really worried. What could he possibly have to say that upset him so much?

"Go on." I said slowly, a bit scared to know the answer.

"You know ... You know Teresa, right?"

"Your old girlfriend? Yeah. I met her a couple times. What about her?"

"Well, she asked me to get back together."

"And what did you say?" I wasn't angry, I was just curious.

"I ... I said I have to think about it."

"Run." I said blankly.

"What?" He asked in a confused tone. Idiot.

"I said run. Go to her."

"Linda- "

"Just go! Don't make this harder for me than it already is!" I yelled in his face.

"Linda-"

"Brad! Just ... Just go, please." I whispered the last part.

He slowly got up and dusted himself, then he turned to me.

"I'm sorry Lid, I really am."

"Shut up! Just leave."

He looked hurt but that was probably fake. "Bye Lid." With that, he slowly started walking in the direction of my cabin, probably to take his stuff. That's the last time I saw him.

- End of flashback

Louise's POV

"When did this happen?" I asked in a low voice.

"And you didn't talk to anyone about it?" She shook her head.

"I wanted to tell you and Alex when I was ready."

I hugged her tightly. "You deserve better than him."

She started sobbing. "Sister it hurts. Why? That's the only thing I wanna know. Why?" I shushed her and hugged her even tighter.

I let go of her after a while when she stopped sobbing and just sat there.

We sat in silence for a while. Only the sound of our breathing and sometimes the singing of birds were heard. That is, until I heard a noise. It was like a hiss. I started to get a bit worried. My instincts were always quick to warn me encase of any danger.

"Linda." I said in a whispered tone. "What?" She whispered back.

"I heard something."

"Oh yeah? Like what?" She asked curiously.

"Like ... Like a hiss." I said in a shaky tone. I was always one to get worried quickly. But that paid off most of the time.

Suddenly we heard the sound of a twig snap.

"Louise, I'm scared." Linda scouted closer to be and I wrapped my arms around her torso and slowly got up.

I started to take small steps back from where I assumed the noise was coming from. Suddenly something, or should I say someone tackled me to the ground causing me to let go of Linda and her to land a few meters away from me.

I looked up to see that it was a girl. She had red hair and red eyes. Wait! Red eyes?! But, how is this possible. I looked up again and saw that she was smirking at me. "Say goodbye." That's when I noticed she had fangs. She then sunk her teeth into my neck. I was breathing heavily but I didn't scream. I can't show weakness or she'll take advantage of that.

Suddenly, she pulled back. She pulled back with so much force that I thought she ripped my throat open.

She started coughing blood which was a pretty disgusting sight to watch.

"You!" She pointed her finger in my direction. "Your blood is disgusting!" She hissed.

"How? Aren't all humans the same?" I asked, a bit scared that she might attack me.

"You! You're not human!" she hissed once more

"Sis!" I looked over to my side to see my sister laying a few meters away from

me. She was shaking a bit but I knew she wasn't worried about herself. She was worried about me.

I started to slowly get up, not taking my eyes off the creature who I now, suspected to be a vampire.

Once I was fully up and standing, I took a few steps back till I reached the end of a cliff which I have just come to noticed. Weird, right?

I turned and gave my sister one reassuring look before turing back to the 'vampire'.

Next thing I know, she's smirking and taking small steps towards me. "W-what are you doing?" I asked in a shaky voice cause let's face it, she's a vampire who can rip me limb from limb.

"You've see too much, I can't let you live. You can't be trusted." She was face to face with me right now. She came close to my ear and whispered. "Goodbye." And with one swift move, she pushed me off the cliff.

Hey guys! So, I left you at a cliffhanger:) Sorry, I had to ...
