The young warlock was stood there staring now at the floor, the look of dread covered his face like a mask. Alec saw the look across his face and was immediately hit with compassion for the warlock. However Jace was still determined to find out what happened and continued to interrogate. "WELL THEN WHAT WAS IT" Jace asked with even more anger than before. "Jace maybe you should go and help Izzy I can take it from here" Alec replied but jace immediately responded "NO NOT UNTIL I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED HERE"
"jace just go your not getting anymore answers by standing here shouting like this now go and help Izzy with the mundane, go" Alec said in a more raised voice "Fine I guess your right" jace replied through gritted teeth.
He turned around and walked towards Izzy, who was still trying to help the mundane get over what she had just been through.
"Soooo" Alec said awkwardly to the young warlock,
"I still don't know your name" he said trying to make him feel more comfortable and build rapport. "It's Magnus" he replied seeming more confident and visibly starting to relax "Hey I'm Alec and over there is my sister Izzy and the angry one is Jace my parabatai. So what exactly happened here then and what has the mundane got to do with it". Magnus looked up with his dark brown eyes gazing directly at Alec. "Ok I'll tell you" he replied as he went back to look at the floor
"It started a year ago...". As Magnus explained the story of his mother's tragic passing, Alec just stood there and stared in disbelief he didn't know what to say or how to react.
Once Magnus had explained his passed he went on and started talking about the events of the past year and how things have not been the same ever since that night...
