THE MASQUARADE REVELRY

From a total black little by little my range of vision had come back. To a sudden realization I questioned myself "where am I?"

Then someone laughed beside me. It was Ryuu and in front was Vladimir.

"Good thing you've awaken little brave princess." He said and patted again my hair. Ugh!

"Where the hell am i?" I shouted. Then I notice I'm not wearing my school uniform. I'm wearing a blue cocktail dress pair with a pair of silver sandal.

"Where's my uniform?" I shouted again.

Ryuu heave a sigh and explained to me. He said they had kidnapped me but for good reason. At kalian pa naging good ang kidnapping? This is a goddamn kidnapping! He said they needed me for their undercover investigation of something involving a case. Whatever!

"Drop me by or else I'll call a police." I threatened them. Baka sakaling ibaba ako pero teka saang lugar ako dadalhin ng sasakyang eto?

"Call all you want because in the first place you have no phone and second, we're far from the police. I can let you die without even reporting us to the police." He threatened me back.

"Hey , stop fibbing Ryuu." Vladimir intruded.

"Now, we're here. Stop talking non-sense and just follow us. It's a masquerade ball so put this up, never never remove this." Vladimir said as he handed me a style half mask.

Before I put my mask on, I focus my attention on the surrounding. This is crazy! The only thing that I can see is a large building which is good for conference beside from the lined up luxurious cars. Nothing else! No houses nearby. What was going on?

"What's going on?" I asked Ryuu as we entered to a conference hall.

"No more questions or else I'll cut your tongue out!" he said and glared at me once more. Ok fine! Hindi na ako magtatanong for as long as this distress from them will end tonight. Just for tonight I'll obey them.

From afar I spotted Samson whose wearing a black tuxedo and a stylish gold mask. Naglakad naman kami papunta sa kanya.

"What was she here for?" he said when we got near to him.

"Your partner for tonight. Hindi kami nakakitang iba so she'll be a substitute. For now, we'll look for the outside and you look inside."

And for a couple of seconds they're gone. It was just me and Samson. What an awkward moment for me. Di kami close no! ine they're serving. Satotoolang di pa akonag didinner kaya gutom na gutom ako ngayon.

"Hey! How are you Samuel? Long-time no see." A middle age man approaches Samson. And Samsom with a spiteful attitude nodded like he doesn't want to have convo with the guy.

"And oh, Is she your new girlfriend? She looks like her but anyway I'm sorry about what happened to Alla. I heard you're still having a private investigation on her cases; by the way I'm Felix and you are?" he said when he caught me staring at him.

While waiting for the proper start of the program I took some of the cuis

"Deby." I just let out a single word. Less talk, less trouble. Pagkatapos nun hinila ako ni Samson papunta sa pinakaharap na upuan.

A few minutes later, event started. Isang auction pala itong event pero bakit kailangan pa nilang magmask? Hidden identity?

After the introduction of each item, the bidding started. I just watch them bid for the higher price kasi wala naman talaga akong balak magbid. But then it happened that Samsom wants me to bid for an item. It was an antique watch from what I heard it was from Herny Montanio's wife. Samson whispered to bid it and win it even for the highest price.
