with nightfall came the freshest breeze
that made leaves dance and shodows tease.
i stirred her mind and whirred her wings
foor who can sleep amidst such things?
and so into the starlit night
she danced and drifted into flight,
on moonlit wings to waft and wend,
her way to find her heart and friend.
there he stood, both still and bright,
drinking in the starry night.
such youthful eyes and playfull kisses,
the silken breeze with joy caresses.
for who could wish for greater things,
that to fly the world on moonlit wings.
