Groaning lowly, I shifted in my sleep to get out of bed when a strong arm wrapped around my waist and pulled me into a hard body. I tried to move again and the grip around me tightened. I rolled my eyes and looked up at my captor. A grin spread across my face. Jake looked so peaceful when he slept, but I needed to go and I definitely couldn't let Eden find us like this. Placing a quick kiss to his chest, I moved to get out of bed only to be pulled back in.
"Mmm, stay," he mumbled. "You're warm."
"Of course I'm warm, Jake," I said. "I'm naked."
"Just how I like you," Jacob said, nuzzling and kissing on my neck.
"No, no, no, no, Prince," I said, pushing him away. "We've gotta get up."
"Man, come on," he said.
"No!" I said, snatching the cover off the bed with me.
I held the cover over my naked frame while my eyes roamed over Jacob's. I bit my lip as I blatantly stared. No matter how many times I saw him naked, it never got old. Grinning, Jacob ran a hand through his hair.
"It looks like you wanna jump me," he said, biting his lip.
"I'm gonna take a shower," I replied, shaking my head and dropping the cover as I headed for the bathroom.
"Can I at least join you?" he asked.
"It's better than you sitting on the bed," I said.
"Hell yeah!" Jacob exclaimed, hopping out the bed and scooping me up in his arms.
Wrapping my arms around Jacob's neck, I giggled as he carried me into the bathroom. Jacob kicked the door closed and sat me on the bathroom counter. Digging his hand into my wild hair, he pulled me in for a deep kiss. I moaned softly and loosely wrapped my arms around his neck. Jacob pulled back slightly and looked me over.
"I'm gonna start the shower," he said.
Biting my lip, I nodded. Jacob gave me another quick kiss and headed over to the tub. The water turned on and my mind began to wander. How long could we keep this up? I wondered. If my dad found out , he'd kill Jacob for sure. What if—. My last thought was cut off when Jacob wrapped his arms around my waist. He hoisted me off the counter and wrapped my legs around him.
"You're thinking too much," he said, carrying me into the shower and pressing me against the cold tile wall. "Now it's time to feel."
I bit my lip. The fated words that got us here.
