School passed by fast and I dropped Leona off at her house and headed home. I drove into my driveway to see my mom on the porch reading a magazine.
"Hey mom, is it ok if I go to a party tonight with Leona?"
" Yeah, sure honey have fun but please be safe I might not be here when you leave."
This was why I loved my mom and lots of more things but because she trusted me to be off on my own and not have to worry about me getting into trouble. I walked into my closet and chose to wear my pink and white swimsuit with a yellow tank top, Khaki shorts, and white flip flops. I ran downstairs and pulled out my phone to call Ryan for directions to the house.
"Hello."
"Hey, It"s Claris."
"Yeah I know I recognize your voice."
I chuckled" So how do I get to the house?"
"I knew you would need directions, just come outside."
I walked outside with a confused look on my face then I saw Ryan leaning on the front of his Hummer at the end of my driveway smiling. He walked up to me and hugged me lifting me off the ground. He was 6'5 and I was only 5'6, so compared to him I was short.
"You weren't expacting me were you."
"Hahaha, I surely wasn't ,but thanks for coming I probably we have got lost."
We walked to his truck and he opened the door for me. He hopped in the drivers seat and cranked up the engine as it roared alive.
"You look really pretty tonight."
"Thanks," I said tucking my hair behind my ear.
We drove up to the house and it was huge. We walked into the crowded house that smelled of alcohol and Ryan ran his fingers threw mine holding my hand tightly. He lead me to the back were we found the pool and lots more people.
"You want to get in now?"
"Sure!'
He watched me as I took off my tank top, shorts, and flip flops. I look up at him as he took off his shirt revealing his six pack. We walked in the pool noticing this girl getting on this guys shoulders wanting us to play chicken fight, they must have known Ryan.
Ryan looked at me" You want to play?"
"Yeah!"
I climbed on Ryan's shoulders feeling about 10 feet tall. He walk up to the girl with me on his shoulder and me and the girl started to battle it out. She tried many times to push me into the water, but it didn't work. I pushed the girl and she immediately feel off of the guys shoulders. The guy that was holding the girl pushed Ryan and we both fell backwards into the water. We came from underwater and Ryan just stared at me. I checked to make sure my swimsuit was still in place.
"What's wrong?"
"Just admiring how beautiful and amazing you are."
"That's really sweet, Ryan."
I couldn't help but to smile and be so very glad that I came here with him.
The party soon came to a end and we slowly walk to the truck talking and holding hands.
"So, I was wondering would you like to go out with me?"
"Yeah, I'd love to do that, you know your one of the sweetest guys I've ever met."
"Thanks."
He picked me up swinging me in a circle and we both laughed standing there together in the dark of night.
We pulled into my driveway and he walked me to the door.
"Thanks for such an amazing night."
"Your welcome, so I guess I'll see you tomorrow?"
"Yeah, sure will," I said walking into my house.
I stopped and turned around to see him still standing there. I walked up to him and kissed him on the cheek and headed in the house closing the door behind me.
