Carissa looked out the window of the truck her father was driving. Her mother sat in the Passenger seat, looking at a crossword puzzle. Carissa smiled, she knew she was like her mother, smart, intelligent, whatever you want to call it. Carissa is also shy, she can be so shy, it's like a disease, a non-contagious one, obviously, but still like one. Carissa looked at her father, she was also like him in a way, she has his common sense and hard working skills.
¨Almost there Care-bear¨ My father announced to me.
¨Daaaad,¨ I droned out the a in the word dad, ¨I told you, Don't call me Care-bear! I'm 15!¨
¨Your father doesn't know any better hon,¨ I hear my mother reply from the passenger seat.
¨Ugh, Whatever,¨ I sigh.
¨Some Teenagers,¨ I hear my father joke from the driver seat.
-Time Skip-
I wake up to my mother nudging my shoulder.
¨Time to wake up hon,¨ She laughed, "We are here."
