Chapter 2: New Discovery

December 9th, 2015

"Hey, Jay, weren't you supposed to be out with Maya like you promised her?" Johnny asked as he and Jay walked out from the game store. "Yeah, but I told her I had a few obligations to take care of first. "Obligations?" He asked curiously as he thought, 'Did he finally get how she feels about him...?' He looked down, seeming to be disappointed with himself.

"Johnny?" Jay looked over to him confused, "Are you alright?" Johnny couldn't help but nod after he jumped out of his thoughts in fright, "Y-Yeah... I'm fine." Johnny replied.

Jay walked into the school gates as Johnny left to do some Christmas shopping. "I'll see you back at the dorm, alright?", Johnny said stopping and looking back at Jay. "Yeah, yeah. Just go finish doing your shopping." Jay said as he gestured him to go on.

Maya sat in the room quite impatiently. "Geez, where is that loser?!" She blurred out just as Jay walked into the dorm room. "Well, if I'm such a loser, I guess you don't want these then?" He teased as he held the bag of games in front of her face. "No, no! I'm sorry! You're the best in the world, Jay-sama!" She said with a bow.

Jay couldn't help but feel embarrassed as he gave her the games. "Yes! Thanks for picking them up for me, Jay-senpai" Maya smiled lightly at Jay as he did to her. "Not a problem, Maya-chan." A sudden burst of their door was a sudden shock to the both of them. "Jay-senpai, Maya-chan! Johnny is in trouble!" Said one of the Sophomore class students.

"What?! Where is he now?!" Jay asked her.

"Out by Old Creeks with a bunch of Senior bullies!" She replied.

Jay grabbed his wooden practice sword and ran out toward Old Creeks. "Damn it, shouldn't have let Johnny go by himself after all!" Jay yelled at himself. He looked down at the wooden sword and looked in worry. 'Who would've thought I'd be picking one of these up again.' He thought as the flashback of his horrible past came back.

He smacked himself and shook his head. "No, I shouldn't worry about that...!" He said as he finally made it to Old Creeks where Johhny was laying unconscious on the ground. "Johnny!!!" Jay ran over to his side. "Hey, what did you do!?!?" Jay asked the Seniors in anger as he gripped the sword.

The Seniors laughed and mocked Jay. "What did you do to him?!?" Said their leader, Ryohei Ichazumo. "We just asked what he was doing out here alone and he got smart with us! That's all!" A chain of laughter came from the group of bullies.

"Bastards...! I'll end all of you!!" Jay swung his sword which had now turned to metal. His hair turning white and his eyes turning crystal blue.

"Die!!"

Gunshots were heard as Jay was shot immediately. Luckily he was only shot in his shoulder his anger now awakening a whole new power to him, but he has yet to notice it. What happened, what is this power? Why does Jay have it?
