I awoke to a sedative feeling. I kept my eyes closed, trying to enjoy the rare occasion when I felt this way. It wasn't until I opened my eyes when the feeling was lost. Raven's room? I don't remember falling asleep in here. My eyes soon caught on the book that laid in the corner of the room. More thoughts engulfed my mind. I picked up the book and put it back on the shelf, making sure to put it in the exact place as it was before. I looked over my shoulder at the clock that was placed next to Raven's bed, that read 10:23AM. I hissed realizing I had no ride for school and no presentable clothing.

I made his bed and walked into his closet, I bit my lip at his rather lack of clothing. I noticed a graphic tee and picked it up to look at the imagery. I lifted a brow upon seeing the trippy imagery of mushrooms and the colorful illusions. I wore the shirt along with a pair of his basketball shorts. After I made myself somewhat presentable in Raven's bathroom, I headed downstairs to the Pack kitchen. The kitchen was fancy and often was not as full as it had been in the current moment. As soon as stepped foot into the extravagant area, all eyes were on me. A few people bowed towards me, others just glanced, and some scowled. The feeling was odd but almost felt natural. Everyone averted their eyes a few seconds later. I seeked out for Luna Lily, hoping she would be in here.

My eyes soon fell upon the girl from yesterday. I walked over towards the girl I didn't even know the name of yet. I sat down in the stool next to her as she ate.

"Hi, I don't believe we've properly met."

She looked at me curiously, "Hi..." she mumbled.

"I'm Delaney, you?"

"Julia." She awkwardly said.

"I have a quick question, Julia. Do you know where your mom is?" I asked of her.

"She's in a meeting with my father, I'm guessing you know where that is." I sensed a little annoyance but I decided to ignore it as best as possible.

"Actually no, your  so-called brother hasn't given me a full tour of this place." I sighed, slouching onto the counter beside her.

"Oh, but your a Luna. Shouldn't you know where everything is?"

"Well your brother is quite ignorant."

"So I've been told." She mumbled, rolling her eyes.

I nearly burst within that moment, "I don't appreciate the attitude." I said this time. I was taken aback from my own words. Was I turning into Raven now? Possessive and annoyed over how others treated me?

"Excuse me?" She asked.

I stammered, "I'm so sorry I didn't mean to-"

She looked at the people in the kitchen before looking back towards me, " I'm sorry I didn't mean to sound bitchy." She told me.

We stood awkwardly for a few moments before I proposed that we should explore. "What if we explored together later?" I questioned. I mean, Why not? It'd be great to learn where everything is on my own and get to know this mystery girl that's supposedly Raven's sister.

"Uh, sure. But don't you go to school?"

"Yeah... I woke up quite late today... so I'm skipping." It wasn't my intention but there really was no point of going now.

"Well then, sure. My mother said we weren't doing anything today anyways."

"Great! I'll meet up with you here in an hour?"

"Sure." Excitement filled her voice slightly.

———

"Hmm did we turn left or right?" I said, looking both ways.

"Left" she paused, "I think."

"Right it is." I laughed.

We have been exploring for 30 minutes and so far all we've seen are endless corridors of rooms. But I'm almost certain we went in a circle twice. We walked a little more before we saw a slightly larger corridor than the ones we've been walking in before.

"Woah a movie theater!"

"Most pack houses have a movie theater. At my pack house ours is two story's and its better than a real movie theater." Julia said as she sat down on a leather seat.

"Why do they decide to go 'all out' when they can go to a normal movie theater?" I said while admiring the sleek leather chairs and popcorn machines.

She shrugged her shoulders, " Well most pack members are always busy, with training, jobs, meetings, etcetera plus it saves money."

"True." I mumbled while plopping into the large couch cushion in the back of the room.

"Wait a second, I thought this was your pack? Wasn't your mom a Luna here?" I said.

"Yeah, something like that." She mumbled.

I hummed in response, "What happened anyways? Are you actually Raven and Jake's sister?"

Her eyes widened, she looked down at the carpet and ignored my question, I didn't push the subject anymore, knowing it's probably a topic she was unable to talk about. "Wanna go explore some other places?" She said changing the subject.

---

The crisp cool air whipped through my hair and every crevice of skin that showed. There was no doubt that autumn was here. Orange, red, and yellow leaves fell from the forest canopy above. It was a beautiful sight that only showed once a year.

"Keep your eyes closed hun." Luna Lily said.

I closed my eyes again and felt the wind pump through the air. Luna Lily insisted on making me do a little of Luna training, she says 'A Luna must show elegance through every movement'. As for Luna training, I don't understand how yoga really helps. She also says 'a Luna must be one of the strongest, emotionally and physically', as for physically I will never reach that point in my life. Emotionally was also a dead end, I pulled the sleeves of my shirt down once more. Each time I saw the scars were a memory of every trauma I experienced at a younger age.

I opened my eyes, peeking to see if she was paying attention. Our eyes met as her full focus was on me. I sighed, "How is yoga going to help me?"

"Yoga will strengthen and stretch your muscles. Would you like to start with your run first?" She said.

"No ma'am, but wouldn't it be better to start with combat moves? Didn't you say that 'A Luna must be one of the strongest, emotionally and physically'" I retorted.

"Your not ready for combat moves, I have to prepare your body before I teach you fighting. You need the recipe to know what your cooking, right?"

"I suppose, Yet Raven and Jax are coming back tomorrow. I wanna show off something cool, not the downward dog pose." I sigh.

"You don't need to show off any thing, they're going to be busy when they come back anyways." She reasoned.

"I guess, but-"

"No buts! You won't start combat moves until you're body is ready to." Luna Lily said while pushing my back down while I did a split.

"Fine." I sighed. Luna Lily now sounded like a second mother.

"Now, since you don't want to do yoga, you're starting with your run. Up up now." She ushered me, pulling at my arms.

"Damnit" I shouldn't have said anything, I hate running.
