those with wings
Both great and small
Don't know who they are at all
They are rare, very uncommon
But they do exist.I ponder every moment, every second
Why they do live here on Earth.
"But be an angel,
Doing its job."To those with wings:
You don't know your wings.
You can't see them on your back.
But I can, and they are beautiful. To those with wings:
You are the ones who save lives.
Who are the best of friends.
You are brothers and sisters.
Mothers and fathers. To those with wings:
You doubt yourself.
You dig a deep depression
And hide yourself behind your smiling mask.To those with wings:
Don't be taken out.
Don't be torn down.
Stand your ground;
Shed light on those who can't at all.Use your wings.
Some are young while others are old
Whoever you are,
Never let your wings be taken from you.
