Iris's POV-

When I woke up I could hear the rattling of bags and someone's light humming. I took a deep breath and sighed before stretching out my sleepy muscles with a moan.

"Iris? Are you awake?" Harry asked while stepping into the living room.

"Mmhm" I nodded and he smiled.

"Well come in here, I've got us some breakfast." He sad while walking towards the kitchen.

"Can I use your bathroom first?" I called after him.

"Of corse. It's in my bedroom, right over there." He pointed and I nodded. His apartment was small. When you first walk in you're greeted with a Welcome rug and a coat rack. As you look left, you'll find a modern kitchen with a breakfast bar that separates the kitchen form the living room which you'll see if you look straight forward. There's the old leather couch that we slept on last night with a faux fur blanket draped over the back. A small coffee table sat on a rug In front of the couch and a flatscreen TV hung on the wall with tall house plants on ether side...that's about it. It was chic and modern but cozy and homey at the same time.

I walked to the door that Harry had pointed to and pushed it open, turns out It was a big and beautiful room. He had a giant bed that was covered in a navy comforter and navy pillows.. His night stands looked like a bunch of stacked up books and he had a few plants sitting around. The coolest part though was his balcony. He had the curtains pulled so you could see the amazing view of the ocean and if I didn't have to pee so bad I would stand here all day.. but I do so I can't.

---

"So, how long have you lived In Miami? Obviously you're not from here." I asked while he took a sip of his coffee.

"Is it that obvious?" He joked and I nodded with a chuckle. "Well, I moved here about six mouths ago. Things in England weren't...working out for me."

"Did the cops catch up with you or something?"

"Nah, just new laws and gang related shit. But It's over now so.." He shruged smiled.

"It's never over." I looked at him blankly and the smile fell off his face.

"What do yo-"

"How do you know Ben?" I interrupted. I didn't want to be asked what I meant by saying that because I shouldn't have said it. If he thinks that moving is going to fix gang related problems then more power to him.

"Um- well a branch of the gang I was in used to work with his.. I met him one time at a pick up and uh, he had some stuff I needed so we kept in contact." He was looking at his coffee cup while he spun it in slow circles on the table. "Good thing we did.. when things got bad over there I called him and he bought me a plane ticket to here and let me crash at his place until I got back on my feet." He explained.

"Wait.. I'm always over at Ben's. How have we never see each other?"

"I always see you Iris." For some reason his words made me blush. I haven't blushed in what felt like forever.

"I- I don't know what to say." I admitted.

He put his arms behind his head and leaned back in his chair while shrugging. "You don't have to say anything." I nodded and sunk lower in my chair. He makes me feel like an awkward school girl and I don't know if I like that or not. "So... do you have any plans for today?" He asked.
