Comfort

My Dearest Luna,
Would you wrap me up,
     A tight embrace-
That can wash away the pain?
  Shall I list all of my aches?
But you know them all already.

My dearest Luna,
Would you comfort me,
     my friend?
Help me guard against the darkness-
before it threatens again?

      hold tightly--
      don't let go?
My heart aches for that comfort
   A friend who'll always show.

    I am weary.
