Hello, I guess. My name is Jesse and I'm a 26 year old guy. One of the biggest things you should know about me is that I'm very outspoken. I'm also very open when it comes to most things. My fight with anxiety and depression is a routine daily occurrence. I'm hoping that by getting my poetry out to someone, anyone, it can help them relate. Maybe start a dialogue. Because of my anxiety and depression I've adopted a motto that I live by: si vis pacem, para bellum. If you want peace, prepare for war. Everyday, living with these diseases, is a war. One that I try to win. While my poetry does sometimes deal with issues such as suicide, I am not directly suicidal. I've found that writing it out and getting those emotions on paper, or any kind of medium, helps to thwart any overt feelings of self-harm.
