9/7/18
It had been a few weeks since the incident had happened. Certainly, it was helpful in some ways, especially with how many trucks came to visit him in the night. He simply had no choice but to wait until his death, and revive shortly after. And so, in the morning, his face was paler than normal, and his eyebags more severe as well. A lovely classmate asked him, "Toby? Are you ok?" to which he replied with an endless need for sleep. His male classmates would certainly kill for such an opportunity, as he was walking along with the most sought-after girl in their class- Selena, who was worried he'd collapse from his lack of sleep.
"Toby. Toby? Are you ok?"
"Yeah, mmm, I'm ok. I've been better, I think. What does better mean? Ahh, it won't do to think about it. I think I should shorten the process, as the truck is rather desperate, to the point that it's driving on the pedestrian walkway."
"Mr. Toby, watch out?!" shouted Selena as she was pushed out of the way by a sleep-deprived Toby who yelled, "Come at me, mere mortal! You cannot defeat the unkillable Toby of the abyss!"
How painful it was to hear that. And how painful it was to get hit by the truck that was coming for him. And so it was.
Moments later, after it was clearly shown to Selena that Toby had been completely and utterly run over, amounting to a flat pancake, he revived with a flash.
"Nnn, and I find myself here again. I think it'd be better for both of us if I just disappear, right, Mr. Truck?"
"Toby! I don't know how you're still alive, but stop this foolish endeavour! Also, what the hell are you? But please, stop it, I don't want to see you get hurt!"
"Ah, what? I can't hear you, there's something in my ear!" Toby shouted back as he pulled something odd out of his ear. It was a large glass shard, which seemed to have been caught in his reviving.
"If there's one piece, there must be some more, right? Let me get those out first!" He shook his head, and various pieces of debris came out.
"NO SERIOUSLY, WHAT ARE YOU??" Selena shouted once again. It seemed as if the short-lived crush that she had had on him since the beginning of the school year would crash and burn in a fire, right there, but it lasted for a few more seconds as she thought, "How wonderful, seeing him shake his hair like that," until she remembered that he just revived from getting run over, and shook debris out of his ears.
"And I thought he was handsome," she lamented.
Across the street, a red-headed figure turned to watch, as the truck crashed into Toby, and he miraculously revived, (relatively?) unscathed.
"Ah... A fellow comrade in arms, against the evil that is TRUCKS!"

"ZzzzzZzzzz..."
"Toby, it's lunch, you know. Aren't you going to wake up now?"
"ZzzzzZzzzz..."
"TOBY!"
"Huh, what?"
"IT'S LUNCH! GO EAT BEFORE YOU STARVE! AND PLEASE DON'T SLEEP AFTER YOU'RE DONE WITH ALL THE CLASSWORK, IT'S NOT GOOD!"
"Sorry, teacher. I haven't gotten any sleep for the past three days... the trucks keep hitting me."
"What? Toby, you shouldn't play so many games, you know. That's bad for your health, playing video games instead of sleeping."
"But teacher, I'm not talking about virtual trucks, I'm talking about ACTUAL trucks. Look. there's a giant hole in the wall from a truck that hit while we were in class. We had to evacuate and everything, remember?"
