Chapter 15

Jimin's POV

I opened my eyes to the sight of the hospital room. My eyes immediately began to look for SoYeon.

I tried to sit up but couldn't. The pain was pinning me to the bed.

Flashback

I watched through the window as SoYeon was watering the plants, while sipping the drink she made me.  Then, a flower flew outside and SoYeon went after it. Something inside made me follow her. I moved my legs behind her, she picked up the flower and smiled.

I saw a truck coming her way, really close. My heart dropped as I ran over to her, hugging her tight in my arms as my eyes saw nothing but black. The last image in my head was her bleeding forehead and my arms soaked in blood.

End of flashback

"I need to find her." - I forced myself to sit up as the doctors rushed in.

"Mr.Park, I need you to stay still, don't move too much." - One of them said.

"How long have I been here?" - I asked.

"You haven't woke up in a week." - He said as my eyes widen in shock.

"One week??? How about the girl that was also there?"

"Ms. Kim is still unconscious for now, her head was damaged quite badly.  But it could've been worse if you didn't cover her."

"Where is she now?"

"She's in the room next door, we're keeping her hydrated, don't worry too much, you need to rest."

"I want to see her."

"You can't walk since your leg is injured, you'll have to move around on a wheel chair for now." - He said and helped me to get on the chair. I didn't even realize that my leg was hurting so bad before he told me.

He helped me move to SoYeon's room.

"Was she alone all this time?" - I questioned while looking at her.

"There's this boy coming everyday. He's really polite and friendly, he stays here with her almost everyday."

"Okay. Can you let me have a little moment?"

"Sure." - He went outside.

"What the hell were you thinking? How did you not know how to watch your way??" - I said to her.

Then I heard the door opened.

"Hey Park Jimin, you're up now huh?" - Jungkook entered. He had this serious look in his eyes while staring at me.

"Hey."

"Hey? Is that all? Aren't you going to tell me how the fuck did it become like this?? Do you know how long has it been?? What were you doing when she was outside!?!?!" - He raised his voice.

"You know she could've died if I didn't get her? Stop blaming me when you weren't even there."

"Why did SoYeon ever had a friend like you?" - He shook his head.

"What's like me? Handsome? Great? Amazing?"

"Don't make me puke. You've always been an asshole to her."

He wasn't wrong.

"Our marriage is ending soon. What're you going to do?" - I asked.

"Ask her out and remind her that she's loved everyday. Not going to be like you." - Jungkook gave me the look as I was kind of surprise on how deep he could get sometimes.
