Basileus ran back to me just as I started seeing red. I saw tears in his eyes that I wanted to take away. He took the needle inserted it into himself, then into me. I giggled. The blood felt so good flowing throughout my veins. Soon the red went away. I gasped feeling gravity shift me into place and my line of sight expand, pop, disappear and adjust to fit my body. Ivan took a step forward but just as quickly took one back. I nodded and he came forward hugging me tightly. "There, there. C'mon, stop crying. I'm all right." He stopped and I let out the breath I was holding in. "Um, sis. They know it happened." I let out a heinous laugh and Basileus teeth sharpened. All of them. He actually looked his age for once. It's time to teach some pack members respect.
Me and Basileus pull up to our central pack house. He slants his eyes guarding everything, and I show my usual expression. A disarming but cold smile. Ivan rushed out of the central pack house and bowed to me. When I bowed back he smirked amusement in his eyes. "Alpha Regina, there are several pack members planning to overthrow you in the elders room." He paused thinking before continuing. "They got permission using their parents status and the paying of elder Dan Phillips."I growled. "Could the wicked bitch of the wild, wild west get any lower? Apparently so." I remark, agitation creeping into my voice. Basileus hugged me from behind leaning his head into the crook of my neck. He hated anyone that even thought about overthrowing me. Pack members practically evacuated the pack house like it was the plague. It was not a good sign when I.showed up and my brother wasn't smiling. Everyone knew that I was.about to make someone's life a living hell on earth. It was a heaven on earth if they even survived my torture.
