ch. 4

Lauren's pov.

"cam, please forgive me. I don't know what just happened, I was going to tell you that I liked him.. but I couldn't. I couldn't because he likes you. I swear I ruin everything. what do I do now? hayes won't ever talk to me again." l said.

"I forgive you but why wouldn't you tell me something like that? wait, hayes likes me?" she questioned.

"yeah he likes you. how could you have not noticed, he always smiles when you talk. and mary is cheating on him.. with hunter." I spilled it all out. I can't believe.. I look over at camryn and she is about to cry. gosh I feel terrible..

"oh.." is all she manages to say. before I knew it camryn ran inside to the bathroom.

I've decided that since I just did that, I'm going home...

camryn's pov.

after lauren told me everything I ran inside to the bathroom. hunter cheating on me? with mary? does hayes know? I need to tell him. tears just start flooding out of my eyes.

"cam, are u in here?" hayes said.

"yeah, *sniffles*, come in. I need to tell u something." I said

"I need to tell u something too." he says opening the door. "you first."

"lauren just told me that hunter and mary.." I mumbled before hayes' soft lips landed on mine. I kissed back but I thought to myself, do I like him? I guess lauren was right about him liking me.. we departed when we heard a doorbell ring. he grabbed my hand and pulled me up. I guess I was blushing because hayes rubbed my cheek and kissed it softly. at the door was hunter. I looked at him and started to cry again. he ran after me and asked what's wrong.

"what's wrong?! you're cheating on me. with that betch mary!! don't even try to apologize! I'm done with you!!"

"you think I'm sorry for cheating on you? mary is a much better girlfriend than you! I'm leaving!" hunter exclaimed.

"cam? are u okay? I heard everything.. as soon as mary gets here I'm breaking up with her. I was going to tell you that I like you.. you are my best friend and I will never hurt you. and our kiss you can't say you don't have any feelings..."

"hayes.. I'm not sure if I like you. I just don't want to hurt you.. and the kiss, it was amazing. I'm just not sure. can you give me some time to sort everything out, please. I don't want to ruin our friendship.."

I ran upstairs to Nash's room. I didn't think he was here but he was. when I walked in he was siting on his bed shirtless.

"oh my gosh.. I'm sorry." I said.

"haha it's fine. what's wrong? you've been crying.. come sit down."

i told nash everything. he looked shocked.

"it seems that you like hayes. you basically just admitted you liked him. go tell hayes you like him. he likes you a lot. he talks about you all the time. about how good you are at basketball, softball, and volleyball constantly."

"yeah I guess I do like him.." I said as I blushed. he just rubbed my back. nash and I have been close for a long time. he is like a big brother to me. I told him that I was going to tell hayes.

hayes' pov.

well that's a great start to the night.. now to handle things with mary.. I hear another doorbell ring and I looked at my watch. it was 7:05, I'm guessing it was mary and I was right. I opened the door but didn't let her in.

"mary, I know everything. I know you've been cheating on me with hunter. I know you are losing feelings for me. I just think it's time for us to break up."

"better late than never, hayes. I hope you know that since we have been going out I've gained over 100,000 followers on twitter and instagram." she fired back.

"so you have been using me? leave now. I never want to see your face again."

with that I slammed the door on her and she left.

"hayes?" I heard camryn say.

"what's up." he said sadly.

"I heard everything and I'm really sorry but I need to tell you something." I stated.

"go on. I..." before i could say anything else camryn gave me the biggest hug and kissed me.

"I think I like you. I like you a lot hayes." she said.
