Kenzies POV
It's been nearly two months since well you know, tommorow is the first day back to school my mom said John Laur Mads and I didn't have to go until we're ready but the three of us decided to go except Maddie she hasn't came out of her room in weeks no joke, she just stays there all day doing well god knows what she only comes out sometimes for food but doesn't say much then goes back to her room but I'm not complaining at least she's not coping with Paiges death the same as Brooke who's just acting like it never happened by getting wasted every night at partys and sleeping with random guys she doesn't even knows name. Even though they never found Paiges body everyone just kinda knows shes dead at this point the police are still looking for Annie it's still all over the media I haven't really spoken to any of the others except Lauren and Brynn.
Haydens POV
I was just sitting in my bedroom on my bed playing fortnite when I heard a faint knocking sound on the door down stairs which was weird because no one ever goes to the back door.
I opened the door.
Annie?! my heart litteraly froze in my chest,what was she doing here.
She just stood there for a few minutes before looking around make sure no one else was here,before letting herself in,she looked a mess her hair was messy,her clothes were baggy and dirty.
I just stared at her in shock.
Normally I would offer her a drink or tell her to sit down but this time I said nothing it was like she was a complete stranger to me now.
What are you doing here?
I needed to see you Hayden.
Why?
I need your help can I sit down? Annie said with a soft innocent tone in her voice. I was annoyed that she expected me to help her after everything but I needed to know why.
Sure I said scratching my neck before sitting down on the couch bedside her.
Well what do you need my help with?
I didn't do it?
I just stared at her with a confused expression on my face.
I didn't kill Paige! I didn't even know she was there Hayden please you have to help me she pleaded on the verge of tears. I felt bad I believed her but I still couldn't just forget everything she's done.
I'm sorry Annie I believe you honestly but I can't forgive you you nearly killed me you tried to kill my friends my girl friend.
I know im sorry Hayden!
Where have you been all this time...
I was staying with my aunt in Pittsburgh,but I had to see you I had to tell you how sorry I am and I needed to see your face one last time because I need to leave for good this time.
*Annie gets up and walks over to the back door putting her hood up*
Goodbye Hayden! Annie said softly as she crept out the front door.
Goodbye Annie I whispered even though she was already gone.
