Skye finished putting the final screw into the headphones, finally sealing in some styrofoam. This will help block the sound... She thought.

"Skye!"

Her mother called downstairs from the kitchen. Skye jumped but reluctantly walked down stairs, her backpack on her shoulder.

"Coming Mom!"

She called back as she entered the kitchen. "What took so long?" Her mother sighed placing Skye's food on the table. Skye chuckled. "Just working on my headphones!" She started to eat.

"Headphones?" Her mother raised a brow, then sighed. "Honey, no subliminal messages are gonna be sent by the government to "mind control" us." She exaggerated the, "mind control" with her fingers.

"Mom you'll see!" Skye sighed sadly and got up leaving for school.

It was boring to be honest. Her teachers could care less about the student physical and emotional health. Health meaning sanity. Skye couldn't stand math or anything school related. Though she loved science.

She checked her watch. Five more hours till science??? What??!! She groaned. Maybe they're trying to bored us into mind control. Raising her hand she said,"Mr.Mullock may I use the restroom?" He sighed. "You do this every day, Skye!" He pointed to the sighn out sheet. "Sign out then use a pass!" She quickly did what she was told and headed the exact opposite way of the bathroom.

She stopped at her locker, and pulled out her tool kit. She needed to add the finishing touches on her head phones.

Suddenly a siren was heard. But it was weird. And she felt pulled to go to it.
