  Taeyong watched the high walls in front of him, making sure to see the details. Sweet love confessions of past relationships were engraved in the once white wall. Black marker lines dancing through the cracks, although the desperate cleaning attempts were visible.

His knuckles were almost white, from the tight grip on his suitcase's handle, and his eyes ran through every face around. Mark should've been back already, there was no way receiving the key to their room would take so long. To be honest? It didn't, Taeyong just happened to be a bit impatient.

The college had decided to put them into the same room, which had sparked limitless joy in the boys and everyone around them. Taeyong was the oldest in all of his classes, especially when their class happened to have a few youngers too. They were younger than Mark, by a year.

Each and every step towards their room was torture; the hallways were crowded, the instructions lacked and everyone was shouting and pushing people around. To say the least, Taeyong's mindset wasn't the greatest which lead to him almost snapping at Mark when he tugged on the older's arm, pulling him into their room.

The room was pretty, but small. One big window was positioned in the middle of the wall, the two beds placed on both sides of it. Taeyong enjoyed the thought of being able to see the small park during days, but additionally having some privacy while sleeping.

Mark, on the other hand, seemed to be deep in his thought, staring out of the slightly smudged window. His eyes while shining with the sunlight and maybe, just maybe, the slim boy observing him found it quite fascinating.

"you think the girls here will like me, hyung? The boys too? Will I get friends besides you?"

The look in the younger's eyes made the older Lee laugh. With a slight shake of his head, he spoke.

"Already thinking about the girls, huh? Well, for sure they will like you. I just might not enjoy your company if you bring them to our room."

Mark snorted, shaking his head in disbelief, as if asking what the older was suggesting? After all, Taeyong knew Mark wasn't like that, not like the other boys in his friend groups had habitually been. He was fairly innocent, actually.

The boys were forced to cease their conversation, as the low-toned masculine voice echoed through the dorms. Hundreds of students were nudging each other around in excitement, trying to get out of the building, and through the park all the way to the actual college. The welcoming ceremony, if you could even call it by that name, was held in the first floor's big hall. To Taeyong's relief it ended as quickly as it became.

The amount of people was suffocating the red haired males senses, bringing him to the verge of exploding. The different voices mixed together, creating a symphony of ear hurting tones. Mark squeezed his hand and Taeyong sighed. The reality was still the same, he sucked at hiding his emotions and feelings, especially when it came to pain and panic.

A quiet whisper snapped him out of the trance of defeat;

"that's kinda gay, isn't it? The hand holding, I mean?"

Taeyong jerked his head towards the source of the voice, blinking a bit once he realized there were five guys around his age, forming some sort of a messed up circle. After a moment of staring they boys bursted into bright laughters.

"Let me introdue us" one of them spoke up, gesturing towards him and the four others "I'm Jaehyun, and these are Johnny, Taeil, Doyoung and Ten." His, Jaehyun's,  gaze wondered to the corner of the hall, towards one more guy "Yuta there mentioned that we should befriend you two, apparently he knows you from high school."

Taeyong nodded, flashing a smile to Yuta's direction, signaling that he indeed remembered the other. Without exaggeration, the japanese made his way to Taeyong in under ten seconds before pulling him into a tight embrace. Right at that moment, wrapped in Yuta's warmth, Taeyong knew that both him and Mark would have a pleasant few years with these people. Interesting, atleast.
