Chapter 2: Awkward in reality

Emily POV

I woke up to the smell of my mom delicious cooking. The smell of bacon and waffle making it's way around the house. I walk down stairs and kissed my mom good morning.My mom hands me a plate and kiss me goodbye" I have to go to work em " as she left in a hurry.As I finished my breakfast I realized I'm running behind schedule ! I have 45 min to shower and get dress and to get to school on time. I rushed up stairs to take a quick shower and brush my teeth. I threw my clothes on as fast as I could. I realized I had my shirt inside out and backwards.

I giggle to myself from the stupidly. I put my shirt on properly and headed straight out of the door and grabbed my car keys and was on my way to school. I just made it in time. Class starts in 2 min. I have time to run in grab my books from my locker and make it to Mr.Fitz in time. I made it to my locker and saw aria standing there with spence waiting for me. we always walk to class together.

Spencer POV

Me and aria was talking about taking a trip to the lake house this weekend hoping the other girls would like to come. Of course my baby Toby is coming and Ezra. it's like a couples night out. Maybe Hanna would want to bring Caleb they've been through hell and back for 2 long years. "Ali's out of town with her dad for a year to visit her grandma ,she's really sick. That leaves ali's out the picture." aria said with disappointment.

"There's Emily!" aria says changing the subject. "Em what took you so long ? We almost went to class without you. You know Aria doesn't like being late to Ezra class." Said a smirking Spencer. Swatting her arm. "Shut up spence" aria said in a jokingly giving spencer a small nudge to the shoulders. "Don't try to argue with me. you know it's true" spencer smiled and aria grinned back .So em aria ,and I were wondering even though you and Ali broke up a month a go. maybe you'd  like to bring Paige to the lake house because it's a couple night out thing . Hanna's bringing Caleb . Emily just stared at me with a blink face. like she was surprised.

Emily POV

I zoned out from spencer saying Hanna's name. I totally had forgot what had happen between us last night . But all I can think about is Hanna's already back with Caleb!I thought they just broke up!Now they want to go to a lake house couples night together!I can feel my jealousy boiling up inside of me. "Em!" spence yell over my deep thought and made me come back to reality. "what happened with Caleb and Hanna??!" Aria and spence said in unison. "N-Nothing! Maybe you should ask her yourself" I began to walk in to Mr.fitz class.Aria and spence got quiet and took a seat so Ezra can start his class.

Aria POV

"I wonder what's Emily's problem is. she just went on full bitch mode when we brought up Caleb and Hanna." I tell spencer next to me. "Maybe something happened between them" i said concerned. "Maybe we should ask her our selves" spence pointed at the door to Hanna .Hanna just walked in the door late as usual.

Hanna POV

I just got in Ezra class late again this is nothing new it's like a routine. I walk in and I apologize to Ezr-Mr.fitz for being late and interrupting his class.He nods and tell me to take a seat. I glimpse over to see where Emily and them are sitting.

I see they left me a seat as usual. Right between aria and Emily. Emily!?! shit! I forgot about our little incident last night . I go over and say hey guys . Emily looked up and looked me straight in the eye I guess she feel the same way as me cause she has the same paranoid face as me. Aria and Spence looking at me and Emily giving each other the awkward stare. I break me and Emily awkward stare down by taking a seat .

I hear aria mumble to spencer " yeah something definitely happened between them." Moments later I realized I'm in a group chat with aria and spencer.

Aria M🌸:what happened between you and Caleb?

Spencer H📚: And did something happen between you and Emily?

💛❤️ Hanna Banana ❤️💛: Huh! me......and Caleb broke up.

Spencer H📚:awe!:( I'm so sorry Han and you didn't answer my question.

Aria M🌸: Me too and are you okay? You seem nonchalant about the whole situation .

💛❤️ Hanna Banana ❤️💛: I'm okay I feel actually relieved that we're over. It was bound to happen anyway. And uh..... me and Emily kinda had a moment. we kinda kissed.. and I'm afraid I like it because I thought I was straight.

Spencer and aria looked at me then Emily like they saw a ghost. Emily shifted in her seat from all the attention being on her. Not knowing what's going on but I think she got an idea. spencer and aria went back to their phones. Spencer yells OMG that the whole class looked at her.Spencer had to make up a lie for her loud out burst. "OMG that I have to go to the bathroom! but I can wait."

💛❤️ Hanna Banana❤️💛: Way to go of making a huge scene spence....

Aria M🌸: lol yeah cool it spence.so are you guys.....like a thing now?

Spencer H📚: sorry I just got a little over whelmed! Are you ? If so I'm so happy for you guys :)

💛❤️ Hanna Banana ❤️💛: No! But the kiss did feel right. it felt like my body was on fire .the weird thing is I'm straight but maybe I'm not what if she still into Ali? what happen if she gets back and wants Emily back? What if Emily doesn't feel the same?:(

Aria M🌸: woaw! slow down tiger. If she didn't feel the same way, she wouldn't have kissed you. you should talk to Emily about it and see if she feel the same.

Spencer H📚: Invite her to lunch at the brew today. so you guys can be alone and have time to talk.

💛❤️ Hanna Banana ❤️💛: I'll do that! you guys have been a big help! Thank you guys for the support xoxo

I began to text Emily and turned around to give her a mysterious smile.

💛❤️ Hanna Banana ❤️💛: Hey Em I was wondering if you would like to go to the brew for lunch with me I have something important I want to talk to you about :)

Emmy😘:of course Han :) I'm glad you asked.
💛❤️ Hanna Banana ❤️💛: just me and you so you know . ;) see you at lunch.

Emmy😘: even better can't wait

I was so excited and nervous at the same time . how would I come out and say this to her. I just hope she feel the same..I think in my head this class so sucks ass! Sorry aria as I giggle to myself
