"Watch where you're going, idiot." The tall, slender man stood before the girl, looking down at her books on the floor.

The shy girl instantly dropped to her knees, her hands shaking as she picked up her books, stuttering as she tried to find the courage to talk to the man. "I- I'm- I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!"

"Who the fuck do you think you are?" Another female's voice kicked in. "Mind your own business, this idiot bumped into me, she needs to see where she's going. Maybe if she didn't look at the floor all the time like she's lost something, she would be able to-.."

*slap*

"This 'idiot' is my best friend so if you don't mind," she picked up her friend off of the floor, and gave the man a slight fake smile, "we will be leaving now." She turned on her heels and dragged the introvert along with her into the noisy cafeteria.

"Are you fucking serious?" The girl stuffed her face with a piece of chocolate cake, "where the hell did you get that confidence from? You stood up to Kim Seokjin, do you understand how big of a deal that is?"

"Listen Emma, you were getting yelled at, on the floor, being humiliated, and I wasn't about to let that bastard slide just like that."

Yeah she was an introvert too, but she didn't let anyone, and I mean anyone make her best friend feel even the slightest bit bad about herself. She would hide in the shadows most of the time, but if it meant she could stand up for her best friend, she didn't care if she was the talk of the whole school.

"Isn't that her?"

"It's that girl."

"Omg she's looking for trouble."

"She's not even that pretty."

"Who does she think she is?"

She walked down the hallway like always, minding her own damn business and keeping her head up high like always. Halfway through the day and she already had half of the school talking about her.

This day couldn't get any worse.

Or could it?

"We have a new student in the classroom, please welcome Seokjin."

Everyone's eyes were on Seokjin, his blonde hair neatly parted and his buttoned shirt perfectly hugged his body and broad shoulders.

Both girls and guys were drooling over him, he had everyone under a trance. Everyone, except for one girl.

Y/f/n.

She was not about to deal with Jin's bullshit for an hour straight. She didn't even want to face the male, wanting to just curl up in a tiny ball and disappear.

But the only seat available just had to be the one beside her. How else would this fanfiction work? 20 seats away from her? I don't think so.

Jin rolled his eyes and walked over to the desk right beside hers.
"I don't have a pencil." He stated before snatching her pencil from her desk and using it for his writing purposes.

"Y/n... hey Y/n, turn around." Emma tapped her shoulder, gaining a slight grunt from Y/n as she turned around. "What do you wa- you've got to be kidding me."

"Hello Melissa. Good to see you again." Y/n stoped herself from slapping the man, clenching her fist at her side.
"It's Y/n. Not Melissa, but why would you even care? It's not like you would want to talk to me other than to bother me."

"Actually," Jin spoke up, his eyes never leaving Y/n's. "I wanted to invite you to a party I'm hosting at my place this Saturday.

Was this even true?
Y/n, one of the least popular girls in school, was getting invited by Jin, the most popular boy in school, to his party. Of course it had to be fake...

"So are you coming?" Jin shook Y/n out of her thoughts. "I probably won't know anybody there and I would have no one to talk to so I think I'm gonna have to say no."

"You can bring your friend, um... Ella, right?"
"It's Emma." Emma said under her breath, rolling her eyes.

"Do I even have an option?"

"Nope! I'll pick you up at 7 so be ready." Jin started walking away, but then stopped mid-step and turned around.

"Oh and about the dress, don't worry, I will take care of that for you."
