6:00 am
I felt my eyes weaken; I forcefully try to open my eyelids with no hands but I had suddenly gave up. I used my hands to open my eyelids gently, but with force. I slammed my right hand on my alarm clock making a loud noise. I had done that by habit; my family was use to it, it didn't startle them but it did wake them all up. Every morning they would complain for me to stop but I couldn't.
I moved my legs to the side of the bed to stand up. When I had gotten up my left leg had gotten numb, every muscle, every move on my leg, would tickle and hurt. "Damn it!" I had said under my breath. This always happens!; I had forced my right leg to step first, this 'pain' had gotten worse. I had let a giggle out. I had felt something get wet, dampen, it was my underwear. I had to go to the washroom before I pee on me gorgeous wooden floor. I had rushed to the washroom, ignoring the pain on my left leg. As soon as I saw the toilet, I pulled my shorts down, sitting on the toilet, moaning in joy.
I had finished washing up, I decided to eat breakfast this morning. So I rushed downstairs hearing my stomach growl in hunger. I patted my stomach and said, "hey, keep it down, You sound like a bear";
I went in the kitchen smelling a perfect breakfast smell;
"Mmm" I said with happiness.
"Good morning sweetheart!" My mother said delightfully.
""My favorite, pancakes with French fries and a strawberry smoothie."
"No problem, sweetie. Your going to camp, it's right for you to have a nice breakfast, remember when your father made breakfast for you last time?" My mother giggled.That time?; Two years ago my father tried to make my favorite breakfast but the only thing he made was fire. I mean serious, like "Our kitchen is on fire!" Type of fire. My father never cooked food for my family except when my mom is lazy but she's never lazy except when she has to go to work.
I heard giggles from behind me from where I was sitting. I looked back to see it was my younger brother and sister. They are both twins but they both looked different; my brother had blue eyes and blonde hair but my sister had hazel eyes and brown hair. They both were starring at me on the stairs, they looked cute. I choked on my pancake, making me spit it on the floor. My husky, Emerald had eaten it. My younger sister, Mia, had laughed and ran down the stairs to tell Emerald what she had down was bad.
I scratched my head; turning to my mom.
"Tsk tsk tsk, I would've told you to clean it up but your going to camp today. Lucky. Go get ready! The bus will be here to pick you up. Your suitcase is by the door, I packed your bra, clothings, tampons, pads and a condom."
"Wait. What? A condom? Mom. I'm not gonna have sex, I'm 14 mom."
"Just Incase sweetie." My mom smiled.Seeing my mom smile was one of the greatest things in the world, but the condom part? I laughed in my head. Seriously? I'm 14. I chuckled. I ran up to my room to get changed, I wore a spaghetti strap, red, crop top with grey sweatpants. Something a little comfortable; I saw the bus arrive, I said my "goodbyes" and "I love you", to my family and they replied with a "I'll miss you". Sweet. My family was sweet.
I ran to the front door to see my suitcase all big and packed. I rushed outside to see my best friend waving in the bus at me. I waved back. I put on suitcase in the outside storage of the bus. I got up the stairs and waved to the bus driver, we knew each other for a very long amount of time. I met her on my first time going to camp, she had green eyes, dark tone skin and brown braided hair. She was in her thirties but she she looked like she was 19, her body was thick and her curves were shown in every outfit she wore. I looked up to her, she was like a second mother I never had.
I looked down the hall of the bus to see new people had finally joined, I smiled. I walked down the hall but what had distracted me was a boy with dark brown hair and the brightest eyes I had seen. I had felt my legs tremble in a very weird and unknown feeling, a pleasing and good one. My mouth had open, making me look like I was I in love with him.
"Serena over here!" A familiar voice had said. I looked around the bus to find out it was my best friend, Viola. I was glad she had said that; I walked up to her and sat beside her fast.
"So do you like him?" She questioned.
"I don't know, I just- I. I don't know what to feel, he's scary but, I- I can't explain this feeling.."
"Lust?"
"I think so."
"Well, same" she giggled.
"Who is he?"
"I heard rumors, that his name is Stefano? I'm not sure."
"Oh."During the bus ride I would study him, I looked at his hair, it looks soft; he was wearing a sweater with shorts. He looked comfortable; we stopped to pick up another camp student, guess who it was? My enemy, also known as a mean girl in my school. She got in the bus and sat beside Stefano. I thought he was one of the shy boys, but no. As soon as she sat down I saw him wink at her, I guess I was wrong. She sat down beside him, they look like they were getting to know each other. I kept staring at Stefano's back side, he was fit for sure; he slowly turned his head; I ducked making sure he didn't see me. That was close;
After minutes of bumps and stops, we had arrived at Camp HummingBird. The camp I had been to since I was 4 years old, I had missed this place. This year I wasn't going to the "Kid camp" I had been moved to the older and teenager camp. Where interesting things happen, I hope this summer break goes well!
