Chapter 9: Finding out about Meonji's other job
It was nearly midnight when Erratum was walking home. Now, you might be wondering 'Why is he walking home at nearly midnight?!' And to answer your question, he doesn't know why he is walking home at midnight, all he remembers is talking to Granny, then saying he needs peace and leaving his home- begrudgingly- for a bit- as he doesn't trust a 'balcony' for safety reasons that he is unsure of- leaving Granny to babysit his kids for a little while. But when he was walking home, he encountered a gang wanting to kill and mug him, but all he had to kill them all, leaving bodies behind and a covered-from-head-to-toe-in-blood Erratum walking home, not bothering to clean the mess he made. To be honest, he kind of missed killing, old habits die hard he guessed, as he was walking home, he heard a scream in an alleyway he was walking by, with concern and worry, he dashed( DEJA VU!!!) in the alleyway without a second thought and what he was greeted with.... was interesting. There stood a woman with brown hair that was fading to purple, she was wearing an all black clothes, from black jacket to black boots she looked like she is a shadow, literally and in front of her, layed a man, he seemed like a man of business because he seemed to be wearing a suit and he had a brief case on him as well. Erratum decided to stay behind a wall and see where this goes out as curiosity got the better of him when he caught apart of there conversation" WHAT DO WANT FROM ME?!" The man screamed out" Oh nothing much, I just want your bounty that was set on you is all" The woman said, her voice was very familiar to him but he couldn't put his finger who that voice belongs to, as the conversation went on, the more malicious it became, the woman's voice turned into more of a sinister sound while the man seemed to have changed from fear to being terrified and that was when he decided to come in, but that seemed to be too late as the man was killed in a way way that made Erratum impressed with the woman. As he was walking towards her, he was in a 10 foot radius and then the woman turned around, he recognized her face as Meonji. He was surprised that it was her as jer face doesn't really show that she is a killer, but you can never judge someone by there face. Meonji wore a white T-shirt in her jacket and he was a surprised when she also didn't go for a black Tee as well" Erratum? What are you doing here?"" WeLL, I HeaRd soME ScrEams herE sO I CamE hErE tO InVesTiGate, And WhAt'S WitH tHe CoNTacTs?" Erratum asked Meonji" Well, I am famous here in the city so I have to wear something to cover my eyes up so no one will know it is me, and I don't cover my hair cause there are people who have my color hair and fades so I am safe with that" Meonji replied" Anyways, wanna head home?" I'm done here anyway" Meonji said and then walked out of the alleyway with Erratum seemingly unfazed at all the blood covering him. On the way back home, Meonji said that the part where he lived was a town notorious for crime happenings a lot, and Gina was an old teacher and an old assassin as well, and he learn new thing that day.
