Noisy city. I'm used to it. Filled with beaming, radiating, even dim lights. Surrounded by murmurs, screams, euphonic or unpleasant sounds. They linger everywhere. Piercing through my ear, shining to my eye.

My phone rang carrying the most flashy ringtone.
Nagtataka kung sino nanaman ang mangi-istorbo. "Hello~" Chants with the most annoying sing along tune. It's Angelica.

"May kailangan ka, " walang gana kong tugon.  "That's not a question by the way. "

"Wow, so wow. Verry cold. Please stop that, parang hindi naman tayo nagkaibigan. Saka ano nga pala, " then her mood suddenly changed, from the kid who want's something from it's parent to a child having tantrums dahil hindi niya nakuha ang gusto.

"What is it? " i asked.

"You're an amateur author, though you don't need much effort in doing this favor becau--" without second thought, I hanged up the phone. This girl is an irritation. But according to my calculation, in three seconds there will be...

Angelica calling

Flashed on my phone. So for her not to disturb me anymore, I answered the call one more time.

"Ito ang huling beses na papatayan mo ako ng tawag. " Ni hindi malang ako kinabahan.

"What? " walang interes kong sagot.

"Nakakainis!!! 'Wag na 'wag mo na akong papatayan ng tawag dahil--" inilayo ko ang cellphone sa aking tenga. She is too loud. Mabuti sana kung hindi matinis ang boses niya.

"Go straight to the point. " madiin ang pagkasabi ko kaya napatigil siya sa pagsasalita.

"Okay, " Saka siya huminga, dinig na dinig ito mula sa cellphone. "I want you to join a literary contest. Just for fun. "

"Okay. " sabay baba ng cellphone.
