Australia Trip

Week 1...part 1

June 17th 2018... (Sunday)

I woke up to music coming from the kitchen. I open my eyes and sit up, I roll my eyes at the sound of Shawn Mendes playing in the kitchen. I get up and head to the bathroom, I brush my teeth, and quickly brush my hair and throw it up in a ponytail.

I start heading towards the kitchen and see Ang sitting on the counter singing to some Shawn Mendes and Andrea cooking breakfast.

"Good morning sunshine, you ready for a day full of travels," Ang says. Today is the day we are heading to Australia for our annual trip.

"What time is our flight," I asked.

"5pm," responds Andrea as she places the eggs and bacon on a plate. We all grab ourselves a plate full of food and sit at the table together.

"So we'll leave here around 3 and get to the airport around 3:30," Ang says while shoving eggs down her throat.

"Sounds good to me," I say.

"So, have you heard from Matt?" Ang asks. (Matt is my ex I broke up with just a couple months ago).

"No, not after I told him I'm going to Australia for 3 months," I say laughing. "He's better off not calling me, I need space and so does he." Right after I say that Ang and Andrea look at each other and laugh.

"Is that why he was in your bed less than 2 weeks ago," Ang says. I roll my eyes and throw a piece of bacon at her.

2 Hours Later....

It's finally 3:00. I've been running around the apartment trying to get my suitcase packed and the apartment cleaned.

"Hey is everyone ready it's 3 and the uber's here," I scream to Ang and Andrea. They come running down the stairs smiling.

"Australia here we come!" Andrea says while throwing her bag over her shoulder.

We all pile into the uber and make our way towards the airport. We finally arrive at the airport at 3:45 because there was traffic. We quickly thank the uber driver and get our luggage's. All three of us rush into the airport and check in. We make your way to the gate when the clock hits 4:30.

"We barely made it," Ang says panting.

"At least we made it," I say laughing. I hand my ticket to the lady and make my way onto the plane. I look outside the window and can't help but to smile as I think about the next three months in Australia.

22 Hours Later... (Monday)

We finally made it, that might've been the worst flight of my life but we finally made it. I look out the window and smile. I then look over to Ang and Andrea who are both sleeping and nudge them both on the shoulders. When they wake they realized we have landed and smile. Sad news is, it's currently 2 am in New York so we're all exhausted, in Australia it is 4 pm.

8 PM...

We finally made it to the house we're renting for the summer. It's pretty nice, and it's fairly small but just the right size. We all get settled and unpacked and we all decide to go to bed so we're ready for tomorrow.

10 AM.... (Tuesday)

We're all up and eating breakfast. We need to go to the supermarket and buy some food and stuff. So we finish breakfast and get ready. I go take a quick shower and throw my hair in a messy bun. I'm wearing sweats and a t-shirt because we're just going shopping, who am i gonna see!

"Hey are you guys ready," I ask as I come down the stairs.

"Yup! Let's go," Ang says.

The supermarket is walking distance so we walk. We finally get to the supermarket and start looking around. In the corner of my eye I spot someone. I run over to Ang and Andrea and start whisper screaming.

"You guys won't fucking believe who i just saw," I say trying to calm down. Ang and Andrea look at each other confused.

"You know that Australian youtuber I sent you guys a few weeks ago saying 'oh haha imagine we saw him i think i'd die'," I say mimicking myself from a few weeks ago.

"Yeah the cute gaming one right?" Andrea asks.

"Yes yes yes that one, Lazarbeam, he's literally in the aisle over there," I say pointing to the aisle he's in. "Do I like go over and ask for a picture?"

"Uh yes! I'll come with you," Andrea says.

We start walking towards Lazarbeam and finally make it to him after what felt like a decade of walking.

"Uh hi, Lannan?" I say shyly.

"Oh hi mate, you a fan?" he says smiling awkwardly.

"Uh yeah you can say that, sorry to bother you but do you mind if we get a picture," I say holding up my phone.

"Oh sure," he says. He comes and puts his arm around my back awkwardly. He's way more awkward in person than i would've thought. He smiles at me and I say goodbye.

"Holy shit," I say walking away. "No way that just happened." I say smiling at Andrea.

We finish grocery shopping and head back home.

Hey guys!! I hope you guys liked this first chapter. I know Lazarbeam wasn't in it a lot but I wanted to introduce him at the end and then slowly start bringing him in! But leave some suggestions for me. !!
