We walked around the park, merrily. I don't know if this means I should be happy or sad. Glaze is with me, she's my childhood love, everything is going just as wanted. But there's still this ache in my heart that won't leave me alone.
"Jakey, aren't you forgetting something?" Glaze looked at me confused.
I smiled at her, "What am I forgetting?"
She grabbed my hand tight. "We're couple now, right?"
Couple? I didn't know we were a couple! "Wait, what?! I think you're mistaken, Glaze. We're not...." I was about to say no, when I noticed Grace hiding in the bushes. "We're not just couple, we're a romantic couple!"
Glaze leaned over to kiss me, but I pulled over. I wasn't ready for this! I didn't even know whom I loved!
I tried my best to ignore Ms Annoying, who's foolishly hidden in the bushes. I could feel the heavy pounds of my heart. I gulped. Hopefully Glaze couldn't hear them.
I looked over at Glaze. She frowned, "I thought we were...."
I gave a fake grin. I'm so sorry, Glaze, but I'm not sure if I like you that way. Something has changed inside me. I need more time to think about us.
That's what I wished to say. But instead...
"We'll kiss at the wedding, won't we now? It's kinda passionate when people kiss at weddings. Will you wait till then?" Fuck me! What'd I just say?!
A wide smile draped her lips. Geez, she's still beautiful but....
I shaked my head to remove the thoughts embracing me."We'll get married...?" Glaze glared at me with real glazey eyes. I hoped not to get such a remarkable reply.
"S-sure!" I had to clench my jaws before saying that. I've no idea where this is going, but I'm sure I've surrendered by now.
My eyes pulled my stare towards the bushes. Though I could hardly see her, I could already feel the sound of a heartbreak inside her. Yet, I may always be wrong.
