| Chapter 1

Rosa's POV

I sweep the floor of the mansion before finally locking up for the night but not before checking the time.

5:30

I sighed in annoyance realising that i could probably get an hour or so sleep before starting my next shift.

Great.

My feet ache as i make my way to the lowest area of my masters, Henry's mansion.

The maid quarters.

I hated being a maid. Ever since I grew up I wanted to be a nurse and work in the pack hospital, but I realised that could never happen at a young age.

This was the coldest part of the castle. It was brutal, i had a small mattress to sleep on and a tiny closet to put my bare minimum of clothes in. It was freezing in the winter and blisteringly hot in the summer. Quite frankly It was hell.

I was kidnapped as a child and placed here, and forced to be a slave because of one single reason.

I'm black.

Black are kidnapped everywhere and placed in places like these and made to be maid's or slaves. Or even worse, sex slaves.

We are all discriminated simply because we weren't 'pure werewolves or humans' according to them.

I sigh as I make it to my small measly room collapsing onto my bed tears escaping my eyes.

Will I ever get freedom?

I jump from my sleep as i feel hands all over my body and my eyes crack open to see Henry lifting my shirt up.

"What are you doing Master? Stop this at once!" I scream but he only shakes his head at me.
"Didn't I tell you I had something special in store for you when you turn 18?" I can tell he's enjoying every second of this by the his disgusting wide grin, baring his yellow teeth

"Please don't take away the only thing I have left!" I plead my eyes full of tears.

He chuckles silently before spitting on my face and taking his belt off.

I close my eyes realising that i cant fight back and prepare to take the pain that was coming.

"The King of Wolves has taken over the mansion master"

My eyes suddenly open, and I breath a sigh in relief as he gets of me and puts his belt back on as he yells orders at the servant.

"Bring me my strongest wolves to fight his army, and kill the King at first sight!"

He looks at me again smiling creepily before looking at me up and down.

"Lets get back to what we were doing shall we ni***!"

I look at him straight in the eyes before spitting on his face and slapping him leave a red hand print.

I smile in content, I never knew I could hit that hard.

However something else distracts me, the sweet smell of hazelnuts and honey enter my nose, it smells almost heavenly...

My master looks at me and bursts out laughing before taking of his belt and his trousers. Finally in his underwear he removes my rags leaving me in my bra and panties.

"You crazy bitch! You think thats going to stop me!"

I knew It was over, an old stinky man would be my first...

I brace myself waiting for him to rape me and expose me to the world. Just as he touches the hem of my panties a loud sound happens and suddenly the door is in pieces.

A huge man runs and he has his eyes set directly on Henry.

He charges and Henry is ripped of me and chucked across the room by this mysterious hero.

He pins Henry against the wall before ripping his throat out with his claws before dropping
him on the floor taking his claws out harshly.

I almost stare in satisfaction as I see his body dead, bleeding out.

I smell the air again, this time smelling the hazelnut and flowers scent again but stronger, my wolf almost purring in delight.

And thats when i knew he was my mate.

He turns around and kneels down next to me and spoons me,

"Are you okay darling?" He speaks his voice soft full of hurt.

When I don't answer he lifts up my neck so he is inches from me. He stares at me gobsmacked for a few seconds before holding me tighter as if he almost lost something precious.

And thats when i was face to face with the king of Wolves.

My mate..
