Michael had invited me to a club and honestly. I'm not really a fan of partying. To top it off I'm a major light weight. How do I know? My parents had a party during Christmas last year and well. I thought I was drinking coke. Nope. Beer. My parents make sure to just have cans now. So no one gets confused. And by no one they mean me.

I was sitting at a chair next to bar messing with my finger nails. Mikey had gone to meet one of his friends and I was really regretting coming. I could just walk out.. but Mikey was my ride. Ugh.

"You look lonely" I looked to my right and saw Mikey.

" We you kinda left me here," I teased.

"Wanna dance?" he asked me. I looked at the dance floor and decided against it. "I'd rather not. Can we go?" I asked.

"Come on. We just got here. Plus I haven't even had a drink. And neither have you."

"I'm a lightweight. I'd rather not."

He chuckled. "Alright."

I was walking up my drive way when I realized I forgot my phone in his car I turned around and he was right behind me. And his face was... a little too close.

We stared at each other until I realized he was leaning in slowly. I found myself doing the same, until I heard my front door open, I pushed him slightly and grabbed my phone from his hands and ran up the rest a of the drive way.

Mikey's POV

That didn't just happen. It couldn't of. Did it? We almost kissed!!! I couldn't help it. She looked so perfect standing there. Her eyes sparkled and her lips looked soft. Our lips barely brushed against each other but I still felt something.

I did like her. I knew that. She makes me feel different. Maybe this world isn't as dark when you find a little light.

Skylar, what are you doing to me?
