Me:"A midsummer festival?"

Nana:"That's right. It will be tonight."

I was talking at school with Nana about a festival.

Apparently, every year they celebrate the summer in Sainan.

There would have been candies, games and various funny actractions, ending with a show of fireworks.

It was a tradiction that all girls had to wear the yukata.

Nana:"I wanted to know if you wanted to join, that's all."

Again the tsundere thing.

Me:"Well, I guess I could try. Who other comes?"

Nana:"Rito, his sister, my sisters, Haruna, Kotegawa, doctor Mikado, professor Tearju, Celine and Mea."

It was a big group. I wasn't really happy about Yui's presence, but I didn't want to disappoint Nana.

Me:"Allright, no problem. What about Yami?"

Nana:"I don't know. Maybe Mikan, Rito's sister, might make her come."

Me:"Are they friends?"

Nana:"Very good friends. I can introduce you to her. After all she already know about you."

I looked her confused.

Me:"Did you talk to her about me?"

She immediatly blushed.

Nana:"I-Idiot! Of course not! Rito and Lala did."

Me:"Ok..."

After school, I went to my apartment and prepared the clothes for the festival.

Ghost Rider:'I know you don't like a party so much. Why will you go?'

Me:"First, because unlike you I care for my friends."

I took out a black shirt and a couple of jeans.

Me:"And second, who knows what might happen."

I thought about to take a necktie, but I didn't.

Ghost Rider:'Why do you think something might happen?'

Me:"I learned to not underestimate this city."

I got dressed, I waited the night and went outside.

It was full of color with the tons of yukata and stands.

Me:'If I'm not wrong, I have to reach the center.'

I started walking until I found a familiar face.

Me:"Yami?"

She turned to me. She was wearing a black yukata with yellow flowers painted.

Yami:"Y/N L/N..."

I noticed she was eating some fish shaped sweet.

Me:"Were you reaching the others?"

Yami:"Actually I think I'll go home..."

Before I could ask any reasons, we heard voices.

???:"Which way, Mikan!?"

Mikan:"Over there, look!"

Me:"Wha-"

And suddendly Rito appeared, about to fall on Yami.

I stepped forward and grabbed him before the worse could happen.

Rito:"What?"

Momo:"Uh?"

Mikan:"Oh."

Me:"Hello."
