"Ahhh!" I screamed as I fell out of bed onto the floor face first. " MOTHER WHY DID YOU DO THAT!" I yelled from upstairs.
Ugh! I rub my eyes as I get up off the hardwood floor. Why the hell does she always scream to wake me up 5 secs before my— BEEP! BEEP! I slam my fist against my alarm clock to shut it off.
I go to my closet and rummage through my clothes to find an outfit when I hear "So what!" Damn I run through my room and grab my phone.
"Hey girlie, ready for our first day as seniors !!" Aydin screams through the phone.
"Well damn , how the hell are you so wide awake and of course why wouldn't I be today is the day I feel it!" I say.
"Girl, who knows maybe we will find a sexy football player this year ! Or maybe you should get a sexy first day of senior year/ birthday outfit!"
OMG! I almost forgot today is my 18th birthday! It's finally going to happen, I will finally get the answers on what had happened the night of the accident.
" Thanks boo, let me get ready and I will meet you outside," I say.
I decided to wear my dark blue ripped up skin jeans ,my sexy read halter top, a leather jacket and my high tops. And I decided to curl my long hair because today i knew something was going to change.
I get done in the bathroom and head downstairs to see a big pile of chocolate chip pancakes with peanut butter, syrup, and whipped topping and bacon on the side.
"Happy 18th Birthday Lilith!" My Mom and Dad say as they give me a hug and hand me my gift.
"Thanks Mom and Dad I love you guys !" I open my gift to see a bright ruby necklace with the word Nightshade etched on the side of the stone . " OMG ! It's beautiful!"
" I'm glad you like it honey!" Dad says.
So after putting on the necklace and devouring my pancakes I head outside to meet my best friend Aydin Rose and we walk to my 2013 navy blue mustang convertible.
" Happy birthday girl!" Aydin says as we get in the car. "And I love that new necklace let me guess a gift from the fam?"
Ha! " Yea boo, it's my birthday present and look it even has my last name !" I show Her where the word Nightshade is etched into the stone.
"Damn girl it's gorgeous!"
"Thanks boo," I said as I start driving to our high school. I mean it's a weird name for a high school, Silver star high but hey it's the best place ever since well now we officially rule the school as seniors!
