By the time Primrose made it down stairs, all four of my family members were already seated around the dinner table. None of them looked up as she sat down. her father's large face was hidden behind the morning's Daily Mail, and her Mum was cutting up a grapefruit, with her pursed over her teeth.

Dudley looked furious and sulky, and somehow seemed to be taking up even more space than usual. This was saying something, as he always took up an entire side of the square table by himself. When her mum put a quarter of unsweetened grapefruit onto Dudley's plate with a tremulous "There you are, Diddy darling," Dudley glowered at her. His life had taken a most unpleasant turn since he had come home for the summer with his end-of-year report. Even Primrose's Mum could ignore the fact that Dursley was to big for any of the school Knickerbockers. So, after many fights that shook my room, the new regime took place. It emptied all of his favorite things: cakes, sweets, chip, soda, and was fille instead with what father would call "rabbit food"

To make him feel better about it all, her mum insisted that the whole family follow the diet to. Primrose noticed that Harrys piece was a lot smaller than Dudley's. Her mum seemed to feel that the best way to keep up Dursleys morale was to make sure that he did, at least, get more to eat then harry.

But her mum did not know what was hidden up stairs. She had know idea that neither Harry or Primrose were following the diet at all. The moment Harry came home, Primrose had dashed up to tell him how the meals would be from now on. He had sent an owl to the "Weasels" and "Hermony" and even a guy named "Hagrod" with pleas for help. And then on harry birthday (witch the rest of the Dursleys ignored) , she gave him a huge chocolate bar, filled with raspberry fluff. Primrose of course, just went to the what Harry called a "muggle store" and bought as much food as an allowance could buy.

They still had plenty of food left, so ate there grapefruit without complaint, only secret looks at one another. Primroses father laid aside his paper with a deep sniff of disapproval.

" Is this is?" he said grumply to her mum

Primroses mum gave her a severe look, and then nodded pointedly at Dudley, who had already finished his piece of grapefruit and was now eyeing Harry's with a very sour look.

Primroses father gave a great sigh, which ruffled his large bush mustache, and picked up his spoo.

The doorbell rang. Primrose pulled herself out of her chair, and when to answer it. It was the mailman, a great look af glee on his face.

"Err..."

"Your mail, miss. Bit of an odd letter on top" He handed he the stack, and she looked down. Every bit of the letter was covered on stamps, except for a square inch in front, onto which the mailer had squeezed the Dursleys address on to it. She froze, not knowing what to do. Should he give the letter to her father? It might get Harry in big trouble. But then again, it could just be spam mail

"Primrose, Darling?" Her mum called

"Err, just sorting through the mail" she said, deciding that she might as well, of that would be a lie. She put the mail into pials in to who it was for, and then froze. At the very bottom of the stack was a letter with her name on it

Should she tell her parents? No, Primrose decided. The last time some got a letter like this, no good came out of it. Quickly shoving the letter between the couch cushions, she went back to the dining room. When she handed the letter to her father, he stared at it for a good 20 seconds before growling
