Chameleon POV
. (Chameleon is the reader's mutant nickname)

They were here.

Since you had found out about the Avengers coming to your school, you haven't been able to think about anything else.

You're so nervous that you passed the point of shaking, and you felt you might collapse as soon as you see them get off their jet.

Three days ago the students at Professor Xavier's were told that the Avengers would be coming to see if there was anyone worthy of apprenticing.
( A new and VERY experimental government program, was what Beast called it.)

Being one of the oldest students here, you expected to be chosen.
But part of your crippling anxiety was that you might not, and would be left to live out another year here with the embarassment that you weren't good enough.

"Cammie!" Alissa whisper yelled to you. A short 'hi' was all you managed, intently watching The Avengers exit their aircraft.

"We're suppose to have an introduction at lunch, which starts right now by the way."

"Okay, let's go then." You didn't really care about making it there, still too nervous about your observation to come. But you wanted to act cool in front of your young friend. For some reason, Alissa idolized you.

Alissa asked questions the whole way and it made you angry. How did you know what was suppose to happen? You were just as curious as she was.

For the first time since you started living here 6 years ago, the mess hall was full. Settling in the corner, you waited to hear what was going on.

Then there he was, Tony Stark standing next to Professor X.

"Students, I ask that you use you manners and behave. Mr. Stark wishes to speak to you." X addressed the room, and it went dead silent.

Iron man, who was currently wearing a regular suit, looked... nervous? Yes, kids made him extremely weary. You began to laugh out loud at the realization.

"Hello students. Today, I'm sure you know what we are here for.
You are all very exceptional young people and I want you to know that no matter what, there is a place for you in this world.
Some of you might find that place today. I now welcome the rest of The Avengers.

"Captain Steve Rogers..

Black widow, Natasha Romanoff..

The Incredible Bruce Banner..

Hawkeye, Clint Barton..

And The Scarlett witch Wanda Maximoff.."

Applause thundered through the room, but you weren't paying attention. All you could think is,

"That has to be me."

So I'm writing this through to POV of multiple characters that are the reader. Meaning that you can pick who you want to be in the story. Like, if you feel like you relate more to POV 2, you could pretend that's you instead of 1.
I hope this turns out cool and readable.
Thor was purposely not included, as well as T'Challa and Bucky. And Loki.
