Chameleon Pov

We were suppose to live here now, but our rooms were absolutely empty.

"We're going to take you shopping tomorrow, so relax. You're teenagers, you can sleep on the couch. Right?" Natasha asked. She wasn't wrong.

It was like an awkward birthday sleep over where none of the guests knew each other.

It was already late, but there was no way you could sleep.

"So, what are your guys' names? I'm Y/N." You asked. They both answered and some of the odd tension eased.

"Want to watch a movie?" You ventured next, trying really hard to become fast friends so it was easier on all of you. Both of the girls smiled and they let you pick.

Throughout the night there were a couple people who came and went through the kitchen behind you. Other than that, it was just you girls.

"I could just read your minds, but how are you both feeling about this?" Rosetta asked.

"Wait, what?" Shockwave asked.

"I have some telepathy powers." Rose clarified.

"Really!? That's so cool, what all can you do?" Shockwave asked and Rosetta explained how she was able to speak Russian, and that she can sometimes control people. This bit of information creeped you out, a lot.

"I draw energy from the things around me and can materialize it into weapons and things. My nickname comes from that I usually use electricity." Shockwave explained.
You already knew her powers, she was pretty popular at the school.

"And what do you do?" Shockwave asked you.

" I'll just show you since it seems to be the most tame ability of the group." You replied.

"Where did she go?" Shockwave asked.

Rosetta smiled, and it made you smile too. But they couldn't see, you had blended into the couch.

"I'm a Chameleon." You answered and walked over to your confused friend.
She jumped when you materialized again right in front of her.

"People have to stop scaring me today!" Shockwave exclaimed and you laughed.

These girls were going to be fun, as were the other Avengers.

When the others passed out you were still awake.

Could you ever get use to sleeping in Tony Stark's house? You would have to. Not like you would choose any other option if it was available,
residence here meant you were an Avenger.

In the morning you were woken up by someone gently shaking you.

"Y/N" they softly called, you blinked your eyes quickly and groaned.

"I made you a plate. The Captain cooked for us so you better eat it." Shockwave's voice brought you out of hibernation.

"Food?" You sat up quickly and immediately went back down. Your body wasn't ready.

Shock laughed and walked over to the counter Rose was seated at next to Tony and Bruce.

Trying again slowly, you made it over there, sitting in the only empty spot, which was presumably yours. A plate of eggs and fruit waited for you there.
You started eating, suddenly very glad to be up.

"This is great. Where did Cap go? I need to thank him?" You asked. You wanted to see him too, you were suddenly pissed that you slept through that gorgeous man preparing a meal for you.

" He went to run with Sam. He probably won't be back until tonight, and neither will you ladies." You were confused for a moment before Natasha entering the room reminded you that you were going shopping.

Nat leaned lazily against the counter and sipped coffee. She grabbed Bruce's arm and smiled as he walked by. He looked a little flustered. You saw the affection on his face though.

They're a thing? You thought, mind going into over drive because of how cute they are.

"Right. Who's taking us shopping, and do I have a spending limit?" Shockwave asked.
Tony looked up from where he was reading the paper.

"Me, and no. Go get dressed so we can get this over with."

So many. Too many. Department stores. But, you had everything for your dream room.

"How are we suppose to get all of this into our rooms?" You asked Tony.

"Have you already forgotten who you're living with? Just call down the moving team." He said as you entered the building with all you three girls could carry.

Tony wasn't helping.
He pulled out his phone,

"I need everyone at the back entrance right away" he said over an intercom that reverberated through the whole tower. You grinned, it does pay to have a few strong guys around.

The only ones who showed up to help were Bruce and Wanda, and you didn't want to work them too hard, considering that they didn't have super strength. You didn't want Banner to hulk out. Anything but that.

By 4pm everything in your room was set up and put together. Lucky for you, you had had an actual rocket scientist to follow the directions for your bed and desk assembly. You weren't patient enough to actually read it yourself.

You had chosen purple and pink pillows and sheets, and a dark green bedspread.

The floor was already carpeted and the was were white, so you went with a black bedframe and desk. It suited you well.

You had thrown away your pride and thanked Tony profusely. He had gotten irritated and told you to stop talking before he changed his mind. You knew what he meant though.

Since you were done putting your belongings away, you went to find Shockwave and Rosetta.

Along the way you came across Steve, wearing work out clothes, glazed in a layer of sweat. He smiled at you and went into the room next to yours.

You had thought you might sleep easier in your own bed tonight, but with Captain America on the other side of the wall?

You didn't think you ever would.
