Carl dropped to the floor with a thud and several people gasped, followed by a silence. There was no sound for a few minutes and I was just starting to wonder what happened when someone stepped out of the crowd and stood over Carl.
"If you ever touch her again, you'll get more than just a punch. Deal?" Said the boy that stood before me.
Carl didn't answer, he put his head down showing defeat in response instead.
The teacher came and the boy took my hand in his as he lead me to my seat then sat in his own. I couldn't help but wonder who this boy was, and why he would do something like this, for me.

I went up to Evangeline's table in free time with my pencil and paper, on the paper I had written: can I ask you something?
When I walled up to her the first thing she said was "Ugh."
I showed her my piece of paper and she read it, that was before she looked at me and said "Nope, disgusting, ew, disgusting, no way."
I quickly scribbled down: but I need your help.
But she only said "No way."
When I started to write again she yanked my paper from my hands and said "Ew. Please stop disgusting thing. And don't write to me again please. Thank you." And she pushed me away from her table.I wanted to ask her who that boy was but I don't know many people, I know Carl and Evangeline, and I know Brittany and Bethany, the twins, because they're Evangeline's friends, but aside from them, everyone else is a stranger to me.
My teacher calls me to her desk and tells me that I have to pick up my grades if I want to get a good job when I'm older, because if I fail in school and in getting a job, I fail in life. This statement made my whole body feel hot with anger. How dare she! How could she?! Since when do jobs and money create a life? Love, mistakes, happiness and failure make up a life, and did you happen to notice that none of these things can be bought from the money you make at the jobs that seem to run your entire lives?!

I went home that day and didn't see the mysterious boy again after he walked me to my desk, aside from at his own desk in class.
When I got home I was exhausted from the walk that I had to make from the library and home, as I go there after school. I walked in the door and before I could make it to the stairs a strong hand yanked me back.
He kept his strong grip on my upper arm as he said, low and menacing, "Boo."
He turned me around and gave me a pencil and paper, for that was how he made me talk.
"What are you?" He asked. He did this to me every week.
"A social problem."
"Good. Now, what do you deserve?""To be beat up."
"Correct. Were's the pizza?""In the fridge."
"Who's is it?""Yours."
"Where do I go after school everyday?""Skateboarding."
"Good. Your done now.""Will you leave me alone now?"
"Indeed.""Because I still have the bruises from last week."
"You don't say? Mum brought it up last night at dinner. I had to make up an excuse.""I didn't tell her anything."
"I know. Besides, she wouldn't believe you. I'm going to lock you in your room now. If you come out, I'll give you a good taste of my fist.""Okay."
"Good."And with that he lifted me off the ground, with one hand, by my arm and threw me in my room then locked the door. I landed on the floor, still sore with bruises and the landing. I drew for a bit, then I went to bed, (I wasn't welcome at the dinner table) hoping to see Krishna again.
When I said earlier that I don't have a future, that doesn't mean that I don't dream. I have wonderful dreams at night, dreams of myself flying, going far far away, to a wonderful place. I am never alone. I am joined by a boy named Krishna. He holds my hand and we fly together. He is not real and I cannot see him during the day. He tells me that I am loved. I never want to leave this dream land but everyday at 7:00am exactly, Krishna tells me to wake up. I say to him that I don't was to go, I don't want to leave him, that I want to stay with him forever. He tells me: 'when you wake, I shall watch over you my dear. You are blessed and you shall get what is right and just for your pains of the past. I will take you away, someday, when you are ready. I will take you away from all this suffering, but you must have faith in me.' Then he wakes me up.
