Jaylas POV
It was a quiet yet peaceful Sunday morning a little too quiet. It was 12:45 pm "damn!" I said as I rushed outta bed. I ran down stairs only to see no one there. I was kinda shook yet confused on why my mom didn't wake me up for church like she does every Sunday. I went back up stairs to take a shower then made some eggs for breakfast. I wonder what imma do today

Leona: so what's the move today?Cuz I'm free
Tyress: im down for whatever
Jayla: y'all tryna come over ?
Tyress: bet

I guess I was hanging out with my besties today. Nothing new . A couple minutes later the bell rings and it's tyress
"Hey shawty"
He says as he walks in going straight towards my fridges
"Nun much" I said in response
"So what we doing today " he says with a mouth full of an bite of a apple
"I don't even know" I said
That's when Leona was at the door
"Yooooo I'm homeeeee" she says as she sits on the couch kicking off the shoes she swore this was her crib. We all sat in the couch on our phones in silence bored as shit. That was until my parents came busing through the door with balloons and a cake with some dominoes.
"Did I forget someone's birthday?" I said with a confused voice.
"Leona, tyress come here for a second." My mom said completely ignoring my question
"We our all looking at a former student at NYU"
My heart stopped and fell to my stomach when those words hit my ears as my mom hands me an envelope
"I-.....I got in I'm in!!!!!" I say with excitement as I go to hug everyone
"I'm so proud of you jay!!" The both say
Then it hits us..all of us that I'll be moving to newyork in 3 weeks...... the room got from quiet real quick

Leona's POV
don't get me wrong I'm super proud of jayla but I don't want the hoe to leave. It's only gonna be me and tyress here.....then again maybe it won't me so bad.

*the next morning*

Leona's POV
it was 5 in the morning and I had to help my little sister and brother get ready for school. After words I cooked them a little breakfast and told them to sit and wait for me. I couldn't start getting ready yet tho I had to help my mom shower and dress her and made sure she ate before I left. Ever sense my dad died shit been tough on top of that my mom has been really sick lately I've tried almost every doctor I could find and non of them knew what was wrong with her.I couldn't leave my mom and my siblings after I graduated. At lest not now. After getting my mom settled I took my shower and got ready for school. I put on some blue shorts and a white oversized shirt with fit Nike Air Force 1. Afterwards I got in my car and drove them jhits to school. While I was on my way to my school my car decided to be a bitch and stop.just great . Not knowing what to do I started to panic. Then this guy approached me . He was tall light skinned, curly hair, piercings and just a whole damn snack. He looked familiar.

"Hey ma you need help"
"Uhhh yeah my car stopped now imma be late for school"
"Hold up you go to Clark central high school right ?"
"Yeah"
"Shoot I knew I seen yo fine as somewhere. I go there to lemme give you a ride"

Ain't gotta tell me twice....

We get in his car and we started talking this nigga cool asf

We got to school and he got out of his car to open my door.

"I'm Keshawn btw"
" Leona"
"Can I walk you too class"
"Uhhh I'm good thx"

I don't know why o said no knowing dang well. Wanted him too

"Ight it's cool you should put yo number in my phone tho...you know just Incase your car stop again"

Did Leona really just get out of Keshawn car?!?!.......

Was tyress jealous? I mean why would he be there just friends. Right?
