I woke up and saw that I was still laying on the couch by myself. I got up and  went upstairs to malak's room he was playing  fortnite.

"Damn girl you slept till 2:00" he smiled, I sat on da bed and looked at him he turned the spiny chair towers me " what's wrong"

" yesterday was just crazy" I Looked at my hands.

"Oh about that I'm setting rules since you living in my house" he sucked his teeth.

WTH idk I was still a kid....

"Okay to start of with you gotta make me every meal.  And I'm picky so I'll help you then once you learn you can do it yourself.

You will be cleaning my house.

Stay out of my business.

Also you have to call me dADDY" malak said rudely.

I rolled my eyes " I have to cook"

" ugh I already ate come hear." I ignore him and walk down stairs. I heard him behind me but didn't care.

At the bottom of the stairs he grabs my neck and pushes me against the wall. " I told you, you do what I say" he let go of me and walked off.

I ran in the bathroom locked the door and flushed with tears. Gives me memories from Hawaii. I hate it.

Why would he hit me.i had a lot of thoughts in my head. What is wrong with my life. Why did everything had to mess up?

I heard knocking on the door " can you please come out I'm sorry"

I wiped my tears and go out the bathroom. As soon as I got out of the bathroom malak was standing their and all I did was hug him tightly.

"Can you make me a promise" I ask him

"What is it baby girl" he looked down at me

"Don't hit me ever again" i look up at him and slap him in his face.

Malaks pov

I felt bad about what I did to Octavia so I decided that I'll spoil her at the mall and take her on a date. So she was an my computer listing to music and doing her online college stuff.

"Hey you wanna go to the mall" I ask her

She turns over and takes her headphones off" sure" she had a grin on her face.....

So she took a shower and put this on

And I put this on

"Hurry up girl" I yell

She comes walking down the stairs"ight lets go"

I couldn't help myself but look at at Octavia's ass when she was walking out the door mamas is thick.

We got outside and I open the door for her" thanks" she give me a weird grin

I hop in he car and we drive to the mall." Soo why are you doing all of this" she asks

"Because I feel bad" I didn't know what else to say and it was too early to put the I love you word out their.

We get to the mall and I open her door" thank you again."

We head inside " we're u wanna go first"

She looks around" ummm let's go to Rue 21"

2hrs later we both pick out our own cloths then we go to the food court" what u want to eat"

" mmmm I want some panda." We go to panda and I get orange chicken with fried rice and she gets teriyaki chicken and chow mein.

We get our food and sit down.

I take a bite out of my food. " mmmm can I get a bite" I grab my fork and take a bite then two more

" damn nigga not the whole thing" she stuffs her mouth

" well don't eat the whole tray in one bite fat ass" we start laughing

" stfu I haven't had panda in a while okay" she says looking up from her tray towards me, putting noodles in her mouth.

We leave the mall and it's 7:00 pm so I decided that I'll take her to the park plus's it's dark and no one is around.

We drive past my house and she turns and looks at me. Then I stop at the park " why we at a park" she arches her eyebrows.

"Cuz we gon chill over hear for a lil" we sat under a tree and she put her head on me and started to close her eyes.
