On September 16th, 2025, Sigwald Isidore and Laila Nikomi settled the city of Aristide in the state of Washington. They classified the city as the place where the most perfect of people can live a luxurious life without ever needing to worry about getting by in terms of money or judgment. This led to them relocating and even eliminating people that they deemed imperfect and or deformed. People who were stated to be deformed but wished to continue living in the city led to the business named GenFix corporation that was run by Laila Nikomi. Any of the marked deformed that could still work was relocated to a slum-like area outside of the city that the locals have named Orașul demonilor imperfecțis however people who live in Aristide only call it "The Slums". The Slums were a trilateral somewhat subterranean city of its own where the law had no true meaning to the residents. The first layer, known as the Surface, was the residential location that housed a majority of the population as well as the stores to gather necessities or items to help morality and or sanity. The second layer, known as Living Hell, is the location where every kind of debauchery occurs without any laws or limits to stop them, unfortunately for some, this is the only layer that they can live on without fear of their deformities hurting them. The third and final layer, known as Machine Haven, is the mechanical layer where all the ironwork and electrical power is located as well as where a majority of the population works to keep the city operational.
On the Surface, a fence surrounds the Slums that was stated to be electrically powered and was connected to an alarm that would sound if anyone attempted to escape. Outside the perimeter of the fence, a team of armed soldiers would be regularly circling as a secondary measure to ensure that the residents wouldn't decide to leave their confinement. This didn't prevent the uprising of a resistance group among the slum residents known as Courage Through Adversity or C.T.A for short. C.T.A was split up into four teams with their own leader which are the Strikers, the Medics, the Mechanics, and the Recons. Mayor Isadore has placed a warrant for the heads of any member and or anyone who helps the members for the reward of the leniency of the city rules. The team leaders' heads were the major prizes but if someone was able to get the overall leader, they would obtain the opportunity of being a chairperson on the Mayor's board. Being on his board allowed the people to incorporate their own ideas into laws for the city and to some extension, the Slums. The main issue for the majority of the people is that no one knows the true identities of these resistance members and leaders so, they can't receive the rewards they were promised. So, the hunt for the leaders begins for many of the city's residents while the Slum residents attempt at living their own lives and possibly be freed from their confinement by C.T.A
