Forever Alone

Luke stared at Olivia's sleeping form, stroking her feathery blonde hair as she slept, her head resting in his lap.

A scream filled the silence, and Luke looked up from the beautiful girl in front of him, praying to god Olivia wasn't a light sleeper.

It was just the recently rented horror movie playing on the TV. It was this random movie that Olivia ( god, if felt so good to know her name.) had picked up on the way home from the bar at some random convenience store. She, however, had fallen asleep after the first 10 minutes of the movie, and Luke had been in this position ever since.
His phone buzzed in his pocket, then softly, his special ring-tone for Ashley filled the silence.

He pressed the ignore button. He didn't want to talk to anyone right now, just Olivia. Everything about her, what little he knew anyway, attracted him.

She had looked so surprised when she had yawned. So shocked to actual experience sleepiness after all those years of endless, sleepless, lonely nights.

" Tired?" Luke had asked her, her tired eyes meeting his.

" No." She said, but yawned again, and her eyes fluttered closed. She managed to pry them open again, only for them to unwillingly flutter closed again, and her head ( which was surprising light, for practically being a human-ish army tank. Well, at least she would be if he hadn't been around.) to rest on his shoulder, and then slump to his lap when she conked out completely.

He'd been in this position for at least an hour now, and, as much as he liked staring at this beautiful girl like he was some fucking stalker, his ass was getting numb and he needed to sleep too.

He reached over Olivia's slumbering body, and froze when she shifted. She grumbled a little, a sound that he liked, and made him want to shit his pants in fear at the same time. She didn't open her eyes, just moved upwards so her head wasn't in his lap anymore, her ass was. Her head however, which he had stopped stroking and removed his fingers from ( mental self-five ) was now resting comfortably on the arm rest of the couch. She smiled sleepily, and conked out again, a faint snore escaping her lips.

I guess couches are more comfortable than legs and a crotch. Who knew? He thought, continuing to reach over and grab the universal TV remote. He clicked the power button, and of course, it made that stupid little jingling sound and Olivia stirred again, curling into Luke's body tighter.

He smiled at her pretty, pale, thin, almost angelic face smushed against his chest. He slipped his arms around her carefully so he was gently carrying her bridal style out of the living room, careful not to knock over any of the furniture.

He continued walking throughout the house, shutting off the lights, locking the doors, and unplugging various appliances, such as the toaster ( which had a thick and suspicious looking burn mark on it ) and the microwave ( which was duct-taped on the inside and was lined with layers and layers of filth ). He shrugged it off, slowly and carefully climbing the steps, carefully trying not to jostle Olivia too much.

He set her in her bed, looking around the room at all the organized crap in it.

He smiled as he shut the window blinds, taking off his shirt ( another one Olivia had found for him.) and dark-washed skinny jeans, and climbing into bed with her. He would have hell to pay later; he knew that, but didnt care as he wriggled under the sheets, curling onto his side, and pulled Olivia into his side. And, surprisingly, she curled into him again. His arms looped around her waist, his chin was just casually resting against the blonde crown of her head, and all he could smell was apples, the sweet sweet smell of apples, as he drifted off to sleep.

Olivia opened the front door, to reveal a tired looking, but somehow not-cranky Blake. His hair was sticking up in places, and she couldn't help but chuckle at a stray leaf that was tangled in his black mop of hair, dangling just by his ear.
