-Yoongi-

"The basketball game was great and Tae's team won by over ten points- Tae scoring most of them." Jungkook told Yoongi excitedly almost bouncing up and down.

"I know Jungkook, I was there." Yoongi replied eyes searching through the crowd for a small blonde haired boy. Not really caring too much about how Jungkook wouldn't shut up about the game and his precious Tae.

Yoongi kept looking around to try and spot a certain someone. Scanning through the hordes of people trying not to get swept away by the high school students who were squeezing their way out.

~time skip~

They sat in the retro diner with burgers and assorted drinks in front of them and began to eat. A lot. The boys were chatting and cracking jokes as they stuffed their faces with the greasy food.Yoongi wasn't interested in the conversation. He was busy counting how many people there were and sighing when it was only 6 not a lucky 7.

Tae spoke out apologising for Jimin's absence and promising it was an emergency and was met with 'it's fine's' and 'we'll see him next time don't worry' before going back to the food because boy were they hungry.

Yoongi was upset that he couldn't see Jimin but he didn't think about him too much (or at least that's what he told himself) so it didn't matter. Namjoon picked up on yoongi's face when tae told them jimin couldn't come and whispered over to jin as the couple giggled to themselves. Stopping as the pale boy glared at them.

-Jungkook-
Jungkook watched Tae as he ate smiling at the younger boy.

Everything about Taehyung is perfect.

It was as if he had been created just for Jungkook, as if Tae and him were fated to be together.

Jungkook didn't get it when he first met Tae. He didn't understand why he couldn't keep his eyes off Tae, why he wanted to be near him.

Jungkook never believed in soulmates, he didn't even really believe in true love, but then again he was a child of divorce and that was the main example of a relationship when he was young.

So when his eyes met with those of Kim Taehyung he didn't know what to do. He wanted to run up to the boy and wrap him in his arms but instead he sat there and stared. He stared at tae in awe of the man, taking him in.

he stared at the boy again now in the diner hoping that he would spare him a glance and in his totally not creepy staring jungkook failed to notice the waitress who had come back yet again to try to pick up jungkook.

"so... are you boys enjoying your meal?" the waitress spoke in a voice that could only be described as a 12 year old boy asking for a girls number and not the cute boy the one who thinks he's all that and then some. " I could give you a dessert... if you'd like. Free of charge of course wel-"

" I'll have the banoffee pie with a side of he's gay and hopelessly in love thank you." Jin interuppted noticing just how close the waitress was to pushing herself onto 'poor kook'.

"I am not hopelessly in love hyung," kook whined.

"sure kook sure."

the boys said goodbye and parted ways. yoongi climbed back into his car and sped to his house forgetting that he was supposed to drive hoseok to his studio.

poor hoseok :(
