After Hour

Part 1 - Me

"Talking to someone is troublesome. So I closed my eyes and pretend didn't hear you."
"But you suddenly plugged off my earphones, what did you say now?"

A short hair blonde girl lied down on the bed. Her eyes were looking at the ceiling thinking of something that seems disturbing her mind.

"It has been a year since I lost my memory.." mumbled the girl.

Suddenly someone knocked the door and opened it. It makes the blonde girl rolled her eyes to the door.

"Manaka! Until when you lying around bed?" said the girl who opened the door with high tone.
"Ugh.. I don't want to go anywhere today. I'm too lazy to move." said the blonde girl named Shida Manaka.
"At least move on from the bed and dress yourself. Help me clean the house." complained the girl.

Manaka woke up and she sat on the bed. Her messy hair and sleepy eyes are shown on her face.
"What do you want me to do, Risa?"

The girl who standing near the door, Watanabe Risa approached Manaka and sit next to her. Risa reach the comb and start to combing Manaka's messy hair.

"First, dress yourself. Then help me do shopping at konbini. I want to cook for lunch." said Risa.
"Eh? Are we run out of ingredients?" asked Manaka.
"Seems like that. I'll write the ingredients that we need then you go to buy."
"Eehh.. why mee? I've said that I'm lazy to go out." complained Manaka.

Suddenly Risa grabbed and pulled Manaka's hair, it makes Manaka moaned loudly.
"O-ouch ouch!"

"You want me to go to konbini and you clean up the house or you go to konbini while me clean up the house?" asked Risa giving Manaka options.
"O-okay.. okay.. I'll go shopping but first release your hand from my hair Risaaaa.." said Manaka.
"Good girl." said Risa then she release her hand from Manaka's hair while smiling.

Manaka rubbed her back hair and she stand up from bed followed by Risa.
"Go take a bath and I'll wait you at kitchen." said Risa then she walked out from Manaka's room.
"Okay, okay.." said Manaka as she nodded.

After Manaka took a bath she went to the kitchen and she saw Risa was cleaning the kitchen. Without any thinking she ran to Risa and hugged Risa from behind, it made Risa startled a bit.

"Risaaaaaa..." said Manaka who is really clingy to Risa.
"Oh! So you've finished?" asked Risa then she released Manaka's arms who just hugged Risa tightly.

Risa took a piece of paper that she prepared for Manaka on the table then she gave it to Manaka.
"Here is the shopping list. Please buy what I wrote there."

Manaka received the shopping list, there are lots of vegetables in the list. She sighed as she saw the shopping list.

"Any problem?" asked Risa who noticed Manaka's sigh.
"Why not we go shopping together?" suggested Manaka.
"Nah, I'm busy. You can do it by yourself right? Then go, I have to clean the living room after this." said Risa then she took the vacum cleaner at the corner of kitchen.
"Come on let's go shopping together. It's been a while we don't shop together right?" asked Manaka persuaded Risa.
"We can do it next time. Now go.." said Risa coldly then she began to turn on the vacum cleaner.
"Come on Risaa.. I'll treat you an ice cream!"
"I'm not into ice cream right now."
"How about I treat you a beef tongue? Hm?" persuaded Manaka hardly.
"Manaka, just go outta there and buy the ingredients. Do you want your mouth to get suck by a vacum cleaner?" said Risa who seems pissed off with Manaka persuades.
"Geez.. okay okay.. I'll go. I'm going!" said Manaka then she walked off from kitchen.

As Manaka went out from the house, Risa sighed. "What the hell just happened with her.."

"I want to be alone, but I don't want to be lonely."

It's been a year Manaka lived with Risa in her house because Risa's mom had to work outside Japan and Risa's house was rented so Risa decided to live with Manaka.
Manaka and Risa went to the same college after Manaka regained her memories. Risa was a diligent student, she oftenly help Manaka with school subjects.
Manaka was the opposite of Risa, she is really bad at studying. It's not because she don't want to attend the school, she still had an issue about her memory so she couldn't remember the subjects very well.

Today is sunday. Risa and Manaka doesn't have any schedule about their college. As usual, Risa always cleaned the house every sunday but Manaka rarely helped Risa. But for today Manaka went shopping by herself in sunday.

Manaka just arrived at the convenience store, she directly took the bucket and went to the vegetables section. She took the vegetables that listed in the shopping list. As she want to grab the last cabbage on the shelf, someone touched it together with Manaka. Manaka look at the person and she was shocked.

"Yuipon!" shocked Manaka.
"Eh? Manaka?!" shocked the ponytail girl named Kobayashi Yui who touched the last cabbage with Manaka.

"What are you doing here? Shopping?" asked Yui.
"Hee I am the one who must ask that to you. What are you doing here?" asked Manaka back.
"Well as you see. I'm shopping here." answered Yui.
"It's kinda rare to see you here."
"Yeah, I just moved here in a small apartment. Haha.. How are you doing?" said Yui.
"Ooh.. I'm fine as Risa still taking care of me." grinned Manaka.
"Risa still living with you?" asked Yui.
"Yeah, it's been a year with Risa. By the way, why are you moving here?" asked Manaka as she still bring her bucket that filled with some ingredients.
"For work. I just got a new job near here. So it would be the best if my house near my workplace so I could save some money." answered Yui as she giggled.
"Hahaha that's really you. Oh you want to take this cabbage? You can have it." said Manaka.
"Eh really? But you also need it right?" asked Yui.
"Hmm.. I can buy it next time, don't worry. Go have it." smiled Manaka.

Yui smiled to Manaka and she took the last cabbage. "Thank you Manaka." After that they went shopping together.

As they finished shopping, they went to the cashier to pay all their stuffs.
"Thank you for letting me have the cabbage." Thanked Yui again.
"Nah, that's nothing. Well, I have to go home now, Risa might waiting for the ingredients now." said Manaka.
"Un. See you later." smiled Yui.
"Oh Yuipon! You haven't tell me where is your new place." said Manaka suddenly.
"Ah, it's near Hatsumori Park. My apartment is in front of Hatsumori Park." answered Yui.
"Aah that park! I know it! Next time I will visit you, bye Yuipon!" said Manaka as she waved her hand.
"Un! I will wait, bye Manaka." smiled Yui.

Both Manaka and Yui walked off from the convenience store. Yui was riding a bicycle while Manaka just go by foot. They went to the opposite direction.
While walking towards home, Manaka smiled on her way. She seemed happy after meeting Yuipon even it just by coincidence.
