This takes place a couple days after the last events of CFO.
Lena was busy. Very busy. So busy that she didn't have time anymore to check on Kara. She hasn't done that in ages. She didn't even know what she was doing or what her job was, for that matter.
She was too busy being the CEO of soon-to-be L-Corp. Working almost from the crack of dawn to pitch black.
This morning, Lena came in a bit early, around seven in the morning. She sets down her blueprints, graphs, and laptop for the day and gets to work.
After a bit, she hears a knock at the door.
"Come in!" she yells loud enough for them to hear.
A woman with coffee in her hand and a tablet tucked under her arm walks in. "Good morning, Miss Luthor."
"Good morning, Jess." She takes her black coffee from her assistant slash secretary as she sits down across from her. Lena smiles at the woman as she takes it. "Thank you, Jess."
Jess nods her head as she says, "Of course, Miss Luthor. Now, shall we go over your schedule for today?"
"Let's see what the day has planned for me."

The next day, Lena was looking at graphs and numbers from the economics team while thinking, How many interviews have I had? Not that many. I've been here for a bit. Kinda interesting...
She goes back to looking at her charts and graphs before Jess' voice from her intercom brings her out of her focus. "Miss Luthor. Your ten o'clock is here."
Lena presses the button without even looking up. "Of course. Send them in." She soon hears a knock and yells, "Come in!" to whoever was outside.
"Thank you for meeting with us, Ms. L-"
She slightly turned her chair to face him front and center to look up at him and finish his sentence for him. "Luthor. Lena Luthor." Her mouth opened slightly as she saw the person next to him.
Màthair was all she could think.
