2 October 2019,

School had just finished, students are running the hell out of from it and there's your favourite Moon.

Adelyn was walking alone with her hands in a cross to hold her sketchbook and a couple of files. Then came along one of her friend, Madeline Diaz. "Hey! Wait up, Ed!" She shouted at Adelyn, she stops in her track and went to looked behind her and saw the ginger curly haired girl running towards her.

"Why the sudden fast pace? Usually you would walk so slow to the point where a little part of me died inside." said Madeline to Adelyn. To which she responds to it "Uh, it's nothing really. I'm just tired that's all." Madeline was a little suspicious of her answer but she let it slide.

Madeline then opens her mouth and said "Listen, I'd like to invite you to hang out with us tonight. It'll be fun." Hang out? With Madeline? Adelyn thinks to herself. She likes Madeline but she's kind of sceptical about Madeline's friends.

Every time when Adelyn would walk past them, they would whisper such mean and vulgar things about her. Madeline had told them hundreds, hell even thousands of times to stop it! But alas they wouldn't because apparently it's not "very like them".

Suddenly, Madeline cleared her throat loud enough for Adelyn to snapped out of her thoughts. "Yeah, about that. I'm afraid I can't tonight. Uh, loads of homework!" Adelyn said nervously to Madeline. Madeline must have been disappointed by the look on her face.

But if only Madeline Diaz would had known that Adelyn didn't wanna go due to the fact that she was going to send her letter to her so-called pen-pal.

October 8th, 2019

Today had just been the greatest day ever for Elliot. He had just received an acceptance letter from an Art University and a letter from Adelyn, and you guessed it. He is more bright and cheerful as ever!

Elliot rushed to his bedroom and eagerly take the flowery scented perfumed paper from the envelope and scanned it like it was very important to the point that it depends on his life.

As he read the letter he couldn't help but feel like a warm fuzzy feeling that's happening in his stomach. He chose to ignore it.

He took a couple of hours to think about what he needs to write, he was debating on whether he should tell Adelyn that he got his acceptance letter or not. He feared that he might come off as a show-off.

After a few minutes, he gave up and ended up telling Adelyn about it.

Letter #3, Octo. 2nd, 2019.
"My dearest Moon,

First of all, I would like to say that it's saddening to hear that you are not over your mother's death.
Second of all, perhaps I can help you to get over it a long the way of our friendship?

Anyway, I would like you to be the first to know that I had just got my acceptance letter from the the Art University that I have been paying my ass off to go to.
However, I am not going to talk about that in fear that I am going to look like I'm saying that my life is better than yours.

Lately, I have been thinking that we should try and talk to each other on Skype.
I think that it would be lovely to hear your voice.

Sincerely,
Elliot Mckenna."

Elliot puts his pen down and stare in to the cold, dark starry view.
He saw a full moon, he smiled to himself.
He liked how looking at the beautiful shining orbit reminds him of Adelyn.

If he could describe her, it would definitely be that; a beautiful shining orbit.

Suddenly, Elliot was brought to earth again when he had heard his brother said "What the hell are you doing?" Elliot hated how his little brother have not grasp on the 'knock the door first' concept.

Elliot frustrated he dragged his brother out of his room, before bidding his adieu, he said "None of your business, go to bed." and proceeds to lock the door.

————————

The next morning, Elliot woke up to the sound of loud cars honking. One of the cons of staying in an apartment in the middle of a damn busy road. Though, it doesn't bother him but it can get really annoying.

Elliot walked over to his window and closed it shut. He grabbed his phone and checked the time, it reads; Saturday, 10:23am.

Elliot shrugged and threw his phone across his comfortable, messy bed.
He has no where that he should be at today, so why not spend the day staying in?
